- JustMeAbsolutely love it!I've owned FoodSavers for years and this so much better. The multiple settings for moisture level and strength of vacuum make it easy to find the right setting for anything you are sealing. We did mashed sweet potatoes, resealed already frozen items that had not had a good seal from the previous sealer and fresh filleted fish among other things and they all sealed perfectly. The pulse option gives you full control on more delicate items but the gentle setting seems to be just fine for 99% of the things we don't want to smush.
One of my big issues with our last sealer was that it frequently did not heat up enough/stay hot long enough to get a good seal. This model has options for both single and double seal and it does not release until the job is done. I would rather take a few extra seconds and have a good seal than have it be a little bit faster and end up having to reseal bags.
I love, love, love that the sink is completely removable and the seals are rubber and not made of an absorbent material. It is incredibly easy to clean and keep sanitary. - Pete BromleyA versatile vacuum sealerThis is the best vacuum sealer I have had. It is versatile, allowing the sealing although usual things, but also with the pulse feature you can preserve bread without crushing it.

- Ms RoseIt’s still early days…Everything seems good so far, but I haven’t had much time to actually give it a full test. I will say that it is easy to use and has a lot of functions and features. I went online to look for a vacuum sealer of a specific brand (N**co) and kind of found this one by mistake. It looks and functions pretty much like the one that I originally went after but it doesn't have the brand. The reviews before me were good so I decided to give it a shot. It was a pretty significant savings to me, about $20 or 20% less. Shipping was next day. The packaging was quite good. It was in pristine condition when it arrived. One thing I'll say for sure. I have some experience with the low end vacuum sealers that are much cheaper. This is way better. The flip down handle to close everything up before starting alone is worlds better.
- PennyNo more freezer burns!I've never owned a food vacuum sealer machine before, but my sister swears by hers so I thought I would give it a try. I didn't find the written instructions very useful, but the video is quick to show you how to operate the machine. At first glance it looks a little intimidating with all the buttons on top, but after you operate the machine once, it's simple. It was easy to use, fast, and provides a great seal. No more freezer burns for me! It is also easy to store in a kitchen draw, cabinet or pantry. The only dislike I have is the cutter. It was completely useless, until I finally figured out that you have to start the cut on the plastic and NOT from either far end of the plastic edge (it only bunches without cutting). I would recommend this product for ease of use, and quality of the seal to keep food fresh.
UPDATE
Initially I was happy with the operation of this FoodSaver. I used it a couple of times without any issues and was pleased with the vacuum and the seal. However, I've owned the vacuum sealer for less than a month and am now having issues with the vacuum. The vacuum works only 1 out of 3-4 times! I try repeatedly to get the bag vacuumed and sealed. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. I've troubleshooted, re-read the instructions, watched the video and still Sometimes the vacuum works ...... Sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately I will have to return this product!
