I dont know if it helps but if I feel I ate something bad or maybe a cold starting these seam to help take the edge of especially if you get food poisoning. - "Uncle Roy" Tharpwater purificaton pillsThese tablets purify water in the wild. Easier to use than a filter, take up much less than space and weigh practically nothing. I've used them occasionally, but mostly carry them as back up for a water filter. The pills can have a disagreeable taste sometimes, but better than a case of diarrhea! Downside... there's a 30 minute wait time for the pills to kill off the evil micro critters.
