About this item
- This product adds a great value
- Product is highly durable and very easy to use
- This product is manufactured in China
- If you want to open your windows in the warmer months, you'll need to take it off. Otherwise, sunlight and normal stress can also make the tape fail eventually. For a good seal, it's probably best to re-apply them every year.

- Clyde C.Lower your power billEvery window in every home should have over your window. Double sided tape is very sticky.one you a ply heat and it shrinks and tightens (used hair dryer) can't even tell its even on. KEEPS THE COLD OUTAND THE HEAT IN.
- Stephanie AciernoTakes Patience & PlanningThere's a learning curve. I made so many mistakes on my Patio Window/Door, that I was a Pro by the time I got to my bedroom window. I press very hard on the tape before I pull off the backing. I let it cure 10-15 minutes. I opened the plastic all the way -- it's double folded and hard to see. Then I cut the pieces shorter and left the width I needed. It's easier to work with shorter plastic. It's also easier to use shorter lengths of tape. I used a pointy tool to remove the tape backing. Then after one pieces was installed, I placed tape across it and started the 2nd piece of plastic higher on the window. Worked just fine for me without any gaps. My blinds cover the plastic so I don't have to see it. This takes longer than you think it will because the plastic catches on the tape and you need to be careful. You need to let tape cure 10-15 minutes after you remove the backing. I recommend cutting the plastic into shorter pieces, then using extra tape to connect them to each other once the first piece is installed. THANK YOU
- Amazon CustomerWider tape works betterWorks very well however!
The tape width needs to be wider . It’s to narrow . It pulled away within 24 hours of installation. I think with a wider base for the film to stick to this issue could be solved. I used two lengths around the window, and this worked out great! - juan sanchezMultiple in a pack.Great item, does help temperature from fluctuations. Helps keep the cold out. Easy install.
- hallwebAdds a buffer from the cold and wind.I have been using these insulating sheets for years and they always help to add a buffer from the cold and wind. I put the tape around the outside edge of the window trim after using a cotton ball and alcohol to clean the surface. Make sure it is completely dry before applying the tape and go around the entire perimeter with your finger after the sheet has adhered. This will confirm a solid connection and remove any air bubbles. It's worth the short time it takes to put these up so you can stay cozier in the cold weather. I've used these with or without shrinking but shrinking is best. It's much quicker to shrink them when outside temps are no less than 50 degrees. You may have to touch up the paint on the trim when you remove the sheets in spring. I had some window trim that was natural wood with poly and I cleaned up any tape glue residue with a little alcohol on a cotton ball.
- M. WykerTape does not adhere well. The tape provided does not secure the sheeting . I had several places to pull apart. I had to re tape with clear cellophane. They need to strengthen the adhesive on the tape. Also difficult to separate the cover from the tape.
- Prachi JainaEasy to Install & Really WorksThis window kit was super easy to apply and made a big difference in cutting down drafts. The plastic tightened up nicely with a hairdryer and is nearly invisible. Great way to insulate without spending much!
- Mary LieberFrost KingOrdered two boxes of nine. The first box had a roll of tape that the backing on one side of the tape had green lettering that I think said Frost King. Those nine went on with absolutely no problems and I would give it a five star. The next box roll of tape had no green marking on one side of the protective material on the roll of tape and it was a disaster. It kept peeling off of the window and would not stick like the first one that had the green markings on the tape. Just be aware, green markings on the protective sides of the tape thumbs up, no green marking on the tape, disaster. Looks like product made in China, some company in China came by Frost King's office in China and sold them a bill of goods on their tape versus the first tape. Frost King, they're not the same! First box five stars, but unfortunately I'm going to have to give them a one-star because of the tape in the second box.
