- 38petsElegant and practicalI used to use ugly green Velcro tape to secure my Christmas greenery swags to my staircase railing, but I never will again! These are a much prettier alternative. They aren’t super noticeable (unless you want them to be). They’re easy to position and tighten. Judging from the product photo you might think they are made of a flexible plastic made to look like rope, but they are not - they’re actually a rope made of silky threads with a sturdy hidden “twist tie” inside. The only negative is that sometimes the rope strands can come untwisted - but they are easily tightened back up again. It did not dissuade me from buying two more sets.
