- JKYou'll be surprised how dirty your floors are after using this product.Researched this product before I purchased. Lower cost models don't vacuum the water up as well. Higher cost models use steam, but are twice expensive. So the ONE S5 is the model, I choose and it works extremely well. Vacuum's, mops, and sucks up the excess water. Takes all the steps out of mopping. The discharged water was extremely dirty which reenforced the Wet dry vacuum's cleaning power. Easy to use, and self cleans. Excellent product.
- jestaun09Great functionalityI love the fact that you can vacuum and mop simultaneously. It makes cleaning up after busy toddlers that much easier. The battery life could be a bit longer, I believe I am getting about 45 minutes of straight power time, which allowed me to do two large rooms and the hallways in between. The floor also feels clean after, not the sticky clean some other power mops I’ve tried leave. Still giving 5 stars simply because the sweep/mop feature works so well together that it’s worth the price to me. The dirty and clean tanks are also easy to remove and replace so that’s a plus.

I have a long haired German shepherd 2 cats, a bird, and a husband. This vacuum does not quit. Pet accidents, mud, sticky watermelon juice it gets it up!
I got the s5 and it does great. The cleaning of the machine is very simple. Just run the cleaning cycle and take the roller out to dry. I rinse the dirty water tank and wipe down any dirt. I haven’t noticed any issues with smell and it picks up some nasty stuff! I do wish it went a bit flatter but it wasn’t worth the price jump to the 6 to me.
I have hardwood, vinyl and tile, it works great on all of them and even cleans my hard to clean white vinyl better than my steam mop! It even goes over my low pile “washable rugs”!
Battery life: do I wish it was a little longer, yes. Would I rather have a cord, no. My house is about 2800sq downstairs. If I move the furniture out of the way first, and zoom I can get it all done. It’s not as thorough as I would want but it is largely done and clean. If I want a deep clean and have not run it in a while, it will do about 3/4 of the space on one charge. Over all the time spent is still much shorter than running the vacuum then the steam mop, as I was doing before. This cuts my cleaning time in half! If I have to charge it and come back for the last bit that’s fine!
With all the animals it handles the hair well. I run a regular vacuum 2/3 times a week and this 1 time a week or as messes pop up and there is no issue with being too much fur for it to handle.
Some things I wish it had: a larger water tank: I have to refill and empty 1/2 way through. ability to use my own cleaning solution: nothing wrong with the one it has but I like some sent. the one it comes with doesn’t have a smell.
Overall this is amazing and I wish I bought it sooner. My floors look fantastic and it is very easy to use and quick! I save so much time using this over 2 separate machines. Now I have the time to actually clean regularly and now my floors are always clean and beautiful! - Amazon UserBetter than the S3I bought this at a discounted price during Amazon prime day. I have the S3, which I love, but was excited over new and improved features the latest edition flaunted.
Let me tell you what I appreciated:
-Closer cleaning to the edges: Okay, so though there is a smidge of an improvement here- the new edition still isn’t as good as advertised. You will see about a cm (give or take 2 mm) of uncleared debris from the edge, but it still is an improvement!
-Better suction: there is a lot more suction on this newer edition and it joyfully surprised me, definitely an improvement I love. I don’t have to revisit areas I already cleaned as much as I did with the S3.
-Design improvements to the cover on top of the roller and the container holding the dirty water. With the s3, I found that at times water sputtered out of the dirty water tank and the cover over the roller, despite both being properly installed. I would have to reinstall them several times to get the perfect fit where water wouldn’t go spraying out. It was annoying. This new design seems to have a better fit, and improved cover that stops this problem. Definitely a relief to know it’s fixed!
Stuff that is a con but not so much to outweigh the pros:
-Battery Power: battery drains faster, this is the biggest issue I have, but all in all I assume it is because it’s operating at a more powerful rate. It still covers most of my bottom floor so not a huge issue, just something that isn’t always convenient if I have bigger jobs downstairs.
-the dirty water tank needs cleaning faster and the cleaning solution also needs refilling faster, and this is for the same reason I think I listed above. I operate normally only on auto mode, so it is likely that the more powerful suction requires more water than the S3 did.
The hand held vacuum is decent, it does the job. Easy to use. For the price of the add on, it’s worth the purchase.
I put my old S3 upstairs and now have the latest edition downstairs. I am pretty happy with my purchase and have bought several of them for family and friends.
Helpful tip for any tineco: I use a deodorizing solution in the dirty water tank to keep it from smelling. I noticed that it was getting very putrid smell in my S3, even when clean, and this seemed to stop the issue. I use the self cleaning feature after every use, Hand wash the components at least once a week, change out the filter and roller every three weeks, and take good care of the machine, but the smell was still happening. I really recommend this to everyone.
