- DabbytooOld school, reliable timerThis is just an old-school dial timer that’s easy to set and works reliably. I love timers and have had many iterations. Some of the new electronic ones will end up making you say bad words. The only drawback to this old-school technology is when the power goes out you have to reset the current time of day. Some electronic ones have an internal battery in a memory, but they can also be very difficult to set. Choose accordingly….

- J. JohnsonSwitch is either manual or timer.They do what is advertised, but I was surprised to find that the timer can’t be started and then switch off at the next off marker. It would be nice if this option was available. Sometimes I like to turn something on early, and if I do so, I now have to turn it off manually.
- Dthis is agood out and indoor timerI've had these now for a couple years. One i keep outside where it does get rained on. The other is inside. The one outside is still working just as good as the inside one. It is easy to set up by just pulling/pushing some tabs around the dial. It's about 3inches by 3 inches on the face of it and is about1.5-2 inches depth. it has worked flawlessly for many years. good timer.

The fourth doesn't function properly in timer mode but properly works when the switch is in the on position. It initially worked in timer mode but then shut off, and multiple attempts to resolve the issue failed.
