They are sturdy, and we've had absolutely no issues with them coming undone. They hold miscellaneous items in the shower, and a bath towel outside the shower with no problems.

I have then attached to my shower walls that are tiled. They have not come off after several weeks of use for wet wash cloths, back brushes, etc. I am sold on the strong capacity and holding power these have.
