- LindaGreat Light. Small and Convenient!I think that these Olights are great. They are so small that you won’t notice it on your keychain, yet the light is bright and it is so convenient and accessible. It is magnetized in its holder, keeping it in the off position, but when you pull it out it automatically turns on. So handy! It is easily rechargeable, and doesn’t take long to charge.
I love mine so much that I bought eleven more. One for everyone’s Christmas stocking. - MkdufferGreat, lightweight EDC light. Awesome valueI'm kind of a flashlight geek. Belong to a lot of the forums where we affectionately refer to one another as "flashaholics". I used to EDC a fairly big light with an 18650 battery. Brought the size down to an 18350, then a 14500, and then a AAA. Since buying this light, my bigger lights have migrated to my EDC fanny, and this, clipped to my belt loop, is my new EDC.
What I like: Ease of use. Idiot-proof interface. No modes to mess with. Need light? Pull the main body away from the charging base (it's magnetically attached), and the light turns on. Done? Reattach it (easy to do blind or in the dark), and your good to go. Need a charge? Remove the silicone dust cover from the charge port and plug it into any powered USB A (the rectangular one) port and it will start charging. Ever notice that whenever you plug in a USB A device, you somehow always have it the wrong way and have to flip it? Well not here. Olight designed their light so that however you plug it attempt to plug in, it will go in and work. It's small, it's light, it's bright and there's no faffing around with different modes, replaceable batteries, etc.. Very KISS. Another pro? It's CHEAP! I got mine for 30% off list. Came out to around $14. For what it does and how well it does it, that's a tough price point to hit. Finally, it has Olight quality. I expect this to last me a long time. I suspect that I won't need to replace it for a very long time.
Dislikes: Finish is easily damaged. The body is aluminum. It gets banged around during the course of a day and the finish gets damaged. Also, while I listed the simplistic operation as a like, it also means there is no low (moonlight) or other modes or battery level indicator.
All in all, the pros vastly outweigh the cons. I think this is an awesome execution of a brilliant design. Five Shakas! ???????????????????????????????????????? - CoolBrzBrilliant designAnother great example of a quality product from Olight. I have many Olight flashlights especially keychain sized and a couple pens as well. They are all great products that come in handy for EDC in their own way,but I’m really amazed by this one. So convenient to charge,nice brightness for a small keychain light, strong magnet, designed brilliantly. Convenient that light engages with the removal of it from magnetic base but doesn’t accidentally easily break away at the same time. I can see why it has all those excellent reviews, I highly recommend this little one.
- NelsonNice EDC Light.This is a great little EDC light. The light is bright enough for most practical uses when you need a quick light. It fits easily onto a key chain without taking too much room with a strong magnet that holds the detachable light in place. When you need a light just detach the body from the base and you have a good functioning light. It easily charges using a USB charger with an indicator light to let you know when its charged. Overall, it is a really good value for the money and a great gift idea.

It’s compact, lightweight, and way brighter than you’d expect for something that fits in your pocket. Perfect for a keychain or glove box — it’s one of those things you don’t realize how often you’ll reach for until you have it.
Charging is super convenient. There’s an integrated USB plug at the base, so no cords or chargers to keep track of — just plug it straight into any USB port. It fully charges in about an hour and holds that charge impressively well.
What I love most is the activation design. There are no buttons or switches — just pull it off the magnetic cap to turn it on, and snap it back in to turn it off. The magnet is surprisingly strong, so it won’t detach unless you want it to. You can even stick it to metal surfaces for hands-free light, which is a lifesaver when digging through dark spaces aka my purse/ diaper bag.
It’s simple, smart, and solidly built — exactly what an everyday carry light should be. && The OD Green shade is spot on — that deep, earthy olive tone that somehow looks even better in person. - RobGreat little light for what it is.This is a great little light with some handy features. I have it plugged into the usb port in my truck as a quick light in a pinch. I really enjoy the strong magnet to attach it to the underside of the hood or wheel well when I need my hands free. The small cons are that it’s tiny when not attached to the base and hard to hold/easy to lose because of this. Also, it’s always on once attached without an option to save battery by turning it off. It’s bright enough for close work, but not a replacement for a real flashlight when needing to see further than a 10 feet or so. A strong feature is the lifetime warranty as I expect the small battery and nature of operation to wear the battery down eventually. I’m very happy with this purchase overall.
