I've put about 50 hours in with my current set and they still seem to stop dust effectively. They tend to start going downhill at about twice that in my application, which is wood working. I like having the use of my lungs, so I buy good filters. Cheap can end up being very expensive over the long haul, and COPD is an ugly way to go.

These have been my go-to organic canisters for years. They last a long time and keep me safe from all kinds of chemicals that I'd rather not breathe in. Airflow is good as well so breathing doesn't take too much effort. Just make sure to verify the fit and seal of your respirator each time and follow ALL THE DIRECTIONS ON THE PACKAGE.

It is better to spend the extra money to get a good quality filter than to buy something that replicates it and doesn't give you the protection that you need. The Durability feels really well made. When installed breathing isnt restricted and the ease of install is fantastic. Simple twist and lock.
