- Michael PCraftsman is Still a Name I Trust and Here's Why...Since 1927 Craftsman has been a known and trusted name and this retractable tape measure is a perfect example. The design is solid and has some heft, seriously do not drop this tape measure on your foot when barefoot.
The retraction is smooth without snapping back like other brands I've tried. The tape measure numbers are large print format and easy to read. I also like the secure snap lock button on top, controlled by your thumb - again a great design choice. There is also a belt clip.
The overall practicality of the rubber bottom means it will not scratch surfaces when measuring like a metal tape measure.
Nearly 100 years and the Craftsman brand still measures up!
