Also love how they have the middle screw that basically allows you to make them a fixture of your house. I ended up pretty much putting one on all of my outlets in my house and garage. Love the usb c and a options too, so I can charge and power devices that have that type of plug.

I have had this outlet extender through 4 different houses over the last 7 years. I have loved it! It’s saved so much space, I can plug my wifi, tv, chargers, just about anything. I’ve loved it so much that I have 3 of them.
Just a few minutes ago, I mean not even 10 minutes ago, the one in the living room got disconnected from the wall by my son, and when I plugged it back in I heard sparks inside the wall. I inspected it and unplugged everything to discover burns and ash marks on the back of the outlet extender and the plug. Be VERY careful about the longevity of devices like this. I should’ve replaced it sooner and I literally could’ve burned my house down by not maintaining my electronics and how much voltage it’s been receiving over more than half a decade! - Jack ChismSolves Multiple Problems and Looks Good Doing ItFor some odd reason, I had a wall outlet with no cover plate. Easy enough - just get a cheap outlet cover and be done with it. But then I thought, "This is sort of an isolated outlet that, in the past, we needed more receptacles." And then I further thought, "We sat at the nearby table one night and the wife complained there was no convenient way to plug in her dying phone." Well that was enough for me! A solution exists that covers (no pun intended) all those problems! Allow me to introduce this simple, quietly elegant, perfectly functional outlet extender with built in USB charging ports. This unit plugs solidly into a standard dual wall outlet receptacle and screws securely into the cover plate hole. On the face, it has a standard AC receptacle on the lower part. Above where you'd normally see another receptacle are 4 USB ports: 3 Type A, and 1 Type C. On the beveled sides are four more receptacles. So you lose two outlets but get 5 overall along with several USB ports once installed. Plus, the center mounting screw is softly backlit by a blue LED, so you know the power is actively there. So there! All problems solved! Everything is secure; all the plugs work. You don't have to over think this one. It works great!
- StingerA good buy!Works like a champ. I don't think I'd plug in a heavy wattage appliance into it but we use it for the charging portion more than anything else. (flashlights, cameras, tuners) I'm planning getting a few more. They are easy to install and appear to be well made.
- Karen Q.very useful product at a great priceThis outlet extender is a great product and installs so easy just remove the plate on your standard 2 outlet plug in plug in extender and secure with the screw that is included for extra stability and that is all there is to installation.I have read that some dont even remove the outlet plate but I did on mine.
The extender fits nice against the wall and has surge protection on so I was able to get rid of my power strip that was always inconvenient to get at.The little surge protection light is convenient at night so you can see to access ports and plug-ins in the dark.
I love that it has usb charging ports built in I was able to free up plugins by getting rid of my old plug in usb charging ports.Now I have plenty of power to plug in my lamp,clock ,phone,my husbands phone in to one outlet,and I still have room for more .
I liked it so well I ordered more I am giving one to my granddaughter for her collage dorm room, It is so light weight and small that I am getting one to take traveling.
