Installation is straightforward—you simply remove the middle screw from the wall outlet, plug in the expander, and secure it using the included screw. There’s no need to remove the wall plate.
The outlets are slightly tight, so you may need to apply a bit of pressure when inserting plugs. I also wouldn’t recommend overloading the unit; light to regular use works best, as heavy usage could potentially trip the surge protection.
Overall, this is a solid and practical product. It’s great for everyday use, as long as it’s not overloaded.
