- ShelbyGreat Longevity and Developmental AidThis was one of the best toys we bought for our baby. We gave it to her at 3 months when she was starting to respond to crinkle fabrics. She’s nearly 8 months now and it’s still one of her favorite toys. The colors are bright and vibrant to grab and keep her attention. The crinkle scales are fun to grab, especially the different fabric textures. She finds the characters hidden behind the scales interesting and is just starting to engage with that bit on her own. It’s about the size of a book, very light, and flat — so it sits on her lap perfectly when we work on independent play and is easy to grab and go. It was also nice to use during tummy time when we were trying to get her to lift her head and then lift up on her arms. Plus it has a squeaker and teethers in the tail, which she loves.
