- Love.Finds.DealsLots of fun for everyone !I bought the Furby DJ and it has been a huge hit in our house! The colors are vibrant, the music features are adorable, and the interactive responses keep kids entertained for a long time. It dances, talks, and reacts in such a fun way. The quality feels great, and the volume control is a surprisingly helpful feature. Overall, it’s a cute, entertaining toy that’s definitely worth the purchase!
- ZAdult collector approved! With some minor room for improvementFurbies were all the rage when I was a kid but I never got one because of the creepy stories that circulated back then. I saw this one and had to get it because it looks so cute and totally non-threatening. The ability to adjust the volume and the relaxation and meditation features sold me on this.
The music synthesizer modes are really neat, and I love how cuddly he is. He has so many different play modes, and the buttons on his belly react well to touch.
My biggest criticism is that the music doesn't loop well in the "light show" relaxation mode. I'm really disappointed because it's supposed to be relaxing and calming, but the short music samples and the really obvious looping stands out to me, but perhaps others will find it okay. I also wish that the ears were soft, and that the fur wouldn't shed as much. It doesn't shed a lot, but if you have dark clothing, the rainbow colored fibers that fall out sometimes are quite obvious.
It's totally worth the price and I'm really looking forward to what the Furby line has to offer in the future. - KarkatLong furby is the superior species!!Much cheaper than making your own long furby, very cute (,though the original long furby still v much has a place in my heart) it has fun activities for you to do, and i much favor the relaxation mode as well as the recording feature to make music. Despite the fact i am not a child and i did buy it for myself at 22yrs old i fw this furby so much. He's my bestie n my 2012 furby's bestie. Would highly recommend for your autistic homies that love furbys (such as myself,) or kids who of course also take interest in robotic toys such as the superior furby.????????
- Andrea Balldj furby comes with exciting new featuresI love my dj furby! He is extra furry, extra snuggly and soft to cuddle with, whether off or on. He is interactive and engaging, offering random goofy things to do in bestie time. I love to cuddle with him with his head on my shoulder and hug and stroke his belly in bestie time. He says many affectionate things like, "furby hug cures everything" and "furby love you extra much." The games are enjoyable as an individual or in a fun group of friends. In light show there are also ocean and nature sounds that are very relaxing. Chill time has yoga moves and time to relax. In music, one cool feature is glow beats. Try listening to some fast dancing music and watch and listen to how furby responds. I love my Dj furby and would recommend it to family and friends.

-fur on toy is very soft and fun for kids (so she says)
-volume on toy is not obnoxiously loud & does have an off button (thank goodness)
-interactive (like most furbies) will entertain child while mom nurses headache
CONS
-(my opinion) just looks weird. That's it. That's everything.
-it has to sleep in the bed not on the shelf
-has creepy eyes looking at you when you least expect it

I dont know, maybe I'm old, but I don't remb furbies being that weird when they came out when I was a kid. But my daughter was really happy with this guy, so I kept my opinions to myself. She seems to really enjoy it and I haven't heard any complaints and it's held the #1 spot on the bed since the day he got here. So I gave it 4 stars bc I think that's what this furby would want me to do. - Teresa HazlettCuter than expected!My granddaughter's favorite color is rainbow :-). I bought this for her birthday to satisfy the stuffed animal and rainbow requirements. She was so excited. Little did I know she had been asking for this. It was her favorite toy, and her older sister wanted one too. I ended up getting a second one. Now she wants a purple one. It is cute and makes sweet chatter that is not obnoxious. The first one I got was more expensive. Luckily, the price point has gone down, so the second one wasn't as expensive. Now I am on the lookout for the purple one. The batteries are in the tail, which perfectly offsets the head's weight. Cuter than I expected, and her reaction was priceless, so there is that.
