My 4-year-old and 2-year-old grandchildren that live close by, absolutely love this rocket launch! Very easy assembly, the rockets go quite high, making it fun to watch how high and how each rocket comes down! Having older grandchildren that live 3 hours away, making a visit to them, I purchased another, my husband attaching this one to a board as well! Another hit for a 11- and 6-year-old! Quality built, easy to use!
- Cold ShottFun toy!My grandkids loved this toy! I bought it for my 18 month old grandson. He's not strong enough to launch the rockets, but he loves watching them being launched and then running to retrieve them where they land.

I wish that it weren't made of styrofoam , but the kids are so crazy about this toy, and it is really important for their sensory needs. Save yourself some trouble and buy the big pack -- your kids will break some of the rockets, or they will get on the roof, and you'll need some extra while you try to retrieve them.
I don't fully understand why this toy is so much fun. It's just stomping and watching the rocket go in the air. - DeeDiDeeLots of Fun, No Skill RequiredI bought the Stomp Rocket Jr. Glow Kit as a fun gift for my three year old son. The Amazon reviews were over the top positive and the price tag was low--so I thought why not? This item has far exceeded my expectations. This is my favorite toy ever, and my son is in complete agreement.
The idea is that you stomp on the stomp box to send one of four foam rockets flying through the air. It is so easy, addictive, and fun. The stomp box is soft so even my three year old can send rockets hurtling 50 feet or more into the air. The air rushes through a flexible tube that you put the foam rocket on and sends it way higher than you think you're going to send it. The whole set up is connected to a plastic stand of three pieces that you snap together. Only a single wing nut attachment (included)is needed to hold it all together.
You can angle the tube to send the rocket straight up, horizontally, or on a variety of trajectories. The foam rockets are very durable. They are soft so I wouldn't let a dog or cat chew them, but they have been indestructible in my son's overeager hands and have lasted damage-free through thousands of launches.
My son is still working on coordination and has tripped over the stand on multiple occasions so it does come apart rather easily, but it just snaps back together--no big deal. I'd like to see an improvement in future versions, but I don't see a reason to downgrade the rating for this small inconvenience.
We played with it for around an hour and a half the first time that we used it. If you have a child this young, then you know the miracle of keeping a child entertained that long. It is an outdoor toy for sure, but I'm thinking we'll get use out of it in a hallway or children's playroom during stormy days. I hope you'll order one if you are on the fence about it. The whole family will love it. - Eileen M.Great toy for a 4-6 year old including any adult having fun with a child!Best toy ever! I bought and another toy for a client's 4 year old son. He opened it when I was with him and I will tell you it was a HUGE hit. I couldn't believe how high the rockets went! I would say 4-8 stories (depending on how hard we stepped on the foot cushion). The nice thing too is it went up and came down pretty close to where we started so we didn't wind up losing any of the rockets. I know this toy has been around for a while, but this was the first time I purchased it. I will say I would buy it again and again for any child 4-6 and again at Christmas time for Toys for Tots.
- starg39Kid-tough toyJust when I thought they don't make 'em like they used to, this toy comes along and proves me wrong. Bought this for my grandson in July. First, the toy works really well, sending the foam rocket about 75 ft or higher into the air. For a 4 year old, it was jaw dropping.
Second, the stomping diaphragm is really solid, along with the tubing to the launch pad. My grandson is very rough on toys but after 5 months of use, it's still going strong. He of course lost 2 of the rockets by launching them into irretrievable places, but I'd buy this toy again in a heartbeat. I love pleasant surprises.
