The quality is really good. Its soft and yet durable. The volume can be controlled so thag a good thing. The way it repeats every silly thing I make back in that silly high pitched voice cracks me up every damn time! I can't help it! Also, I don't know what the 2nd song is, it doesn't have any words, but I swear, it sounds like the opening to "Down With the Sickness" and I keep waiting for the "OOOH WHA AH AH AH!" As for the class response, it was mixed: I have 4 babies in my care, all 9-12 months old. I was worried it might scare someone, but that didn't seem to be the case, which was a relief. Over the week, there wasn't much interest in exploring the toy on their own, except to chew on it. It's a great play-together toy though! I do a lot of singing and dancing, and this is a perfect addition to music and movement activities. I can't speak to the durability yet, but unless you're dealing with an unnaturally strong baby or a kid intentionally trying to break the toy, it feels like it will probably hold up to typical wear & tear. I'll update this if i'm wrong. Bottom line, it's a good product because it does what it advertised, it’s easy to use, and it's actually fun for everyone. Very pleased with this product.

- privatebuyerToy didn't workWhen I opened the battery compartment, I discovered that the toy is missing two of the metal battery connectors. The compartment is designed to hold three AA batteries, but only one of the terminals has the metal contact needed for power. The other two battery slots have empty spaces where the metal connectors should be, so the toy cannot be powered at all. It appears to be a manufacturing defect. Requested a replacement we'll see how that works out.
