I ordered these to protect the Blink4 cameras from outside elements - although the blink4 appears on the surface to be outdoor durable. I purchased white to deflect the heat, particularly for one camera that is getting direct exposure to the sun. In winter, the cameras will be hit with cold and rain, and I have not doubt these skins will protect the camera. They are easy to apply, requiring a bit of strength to stretch them over the body of the camera unit - and they fit snugly with the small visor atop to deflect elements from above. To mne, it was added security for my investment.

I’ve had similar covers for the prior version of my blink cameras. I just purchased six of the new series cameras and I really Like these covers, they help the cameras blend into the background, and of course give us some protection against the weather
