Outstanding zoom range with excellent picture quality, versatile enough for making it your standard lens. As usual, another high quality Zuiko Pro series weatherproof lens. Can't go wrong with this one !

Lens is great for landscapes, large group shoots, or even photographing for real estate.
Sharp lens, easy to use, not too big.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good lens, but don't expect high picture quality due to M43
Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2022
I bought this lens for my Olympus OMD E-M5 III, thinking this focal range would cover most of my usual focal lengths thus being a great street lens.

The lens is built greatly, weather proof, though a bit heavy. However, the problem comes from the camera. The have't-updated-in-6-years M43 sensor, does not provide better image quality than my iPhone 12 Pro. And iPhone 12 Pro has an better focal range.

You might argue that olympus camera has EVF, IBIS, bigger sensor. Yes, but they don't matter much. With AI / computational photography iPhone is able to achieve good image quality, but M43 cameras does not have any meaningful updates since 2016. If you shot photos casually, iPhone is sufficient, if you want better image quality, get a Fuji or Sony. It does not make sense to get a M43 camera/lens which almost identical image quality as your phone.

I ended up returning all my M43 gears.
