    When my lens arrived, I tested it out on my Fuji XT-30ii. The lens was unable to focus on any focus setting. I wanted to verify there was an issue with the lens, so I also tested on my XT-50 to no avail. After a quick google search, I found other users had run into the same issues due to the lenses rear element shifting out of place during transport. I inspected my lens & sure enough, the rear element on my lens was shifted out of place. After gently placing the element back in place, the lens is able to focus and shoot photos as designed. The aperture ring also feels quite sticky, but this does not stop the lens from adjusting or taking photos. Recommended, but with caution.

    The TTArtisan 27mm f2.8 is a fantastic compact lens, pairing perfectly with my Fujifilm XT4 for portability. The silver version looks and feels premium, punching well above its price point. After a firmware update, autofocus works well with the XT4, though it’s a bit noisy and jumpy for video. The lens delivers impressive sharpness, with a subtle softness wide open that resembles a pro-mist filter effect. The bokeh looks great!

    While it offers great value, it’s not without flaws: flaring is unappealing when shooting into bright lights (see sample image), and there’s noticeable vignetting at wider apertures (easily fixed in post). You also can't really do macro photography with the minimum focusing distance (0.35m isn't bad though!). That said, for the price, it’s a solid alternative to Fujifilm’s older XF 27mm f2.8—especially if you prioritize affordability.

    I used it for street photography and I think it works well for that. It's small and inconspicuous. I also like the ~40mm equivalent focal length on full-frame. I added some sample images here.

    Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly option. I personally still prefer my XF 23mm f2.0 but that's a lot more expensive~

    If you’re looking for an affordable 24mm range prime then this is a good one. It’s a fraction of the cost of bigger brands and works quite well. It’s a fixed focal length at f2.8, so it’s a really compact lens. Very easily packable. It’s very light compared to my tamron and Sony lenses. Very small as well.
    What’s great about this lens is that it’s auto focus! That’s right! Auto. And although it’s a little slow, it does the job. You don’t have to manually focus. You can hear it focus too but at this price point can you really complain? It’s a good lens for the price. It’s good in low light due to the wide aperture.
    It also comes with a few extras too.
