    I left a really poor review when I received this product. I'm not sure if there was an update or not, but the software changed and everything works pretty well now. I hope they make it easier to delete recordings and a power on/off feature, but it has improved tremendously. I can't give it 5 stars because of those concerned, but it is a good product overall

    I recently got the Virtavo EggSentry Indoor Security Camera, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how easy it was to set up. As someone who’s always on the go and works long hours, I wanted a reliable way to monitor my home, especially to keep an eye on my dogs and teens. This camera has been a total game-changer—simple to install and full of features that help me stay connected to my home while I'm at work.

    Effortless Setup
    The setup process was a breeze! I was able to get the Virtavo EggSentry Camera up and running in no time. The phone app is very user-friendly—just download it, follow the easy on-screen instructions, and the camera connects to your 2.4GHz WiFi seamlessly. It’s truly plug-and-play, and I didn’t need to be tech-savvy at all to make it work. I had the camera set up and monitoring my home in under 10 minutes, which was a huge relief!

    I got this camera to make sure my dog is ok during the day when I'm out. It had a "dual view" feature which I didn't really understand and when I got the camera it became more clear.
    Setup was easy, and I need to get it set up with my home hub so that all the cameras are in one piece of software but haven't done that yet. It has it's own software called Home V, which works well. The dual camera feature is definitely there, you have a stationary camera on the bottom of the device and at the top there is one that can pan and tilt.
    Since my dog usually lays on the couch I can point the lower camera there and then if I want to see the rest of the room I can pan with the upper camera. If I had it in the right spot, I could see outside, but I've already got a camera for that. It's an interesting feature and something not usually found on other cameras. Overall I'm happy with the camera.

    The camera displays a great video. However when panning to see the remaining of the room I noticed that the camera itself makes noise. Since I used this camera in the room my son sleeps in the camera would make enough noise to where it would wake my son. I’m going to return and find another one

    You have to pay a subscription for videos to auto save to the cloud. While a lot of other companies have subscription based services, they offer some level of basic saving to the cloud when alarms are triggered. For example, Waze cameras auto save ~15 secs of video if motion is detected. If someone enters your home and you’re not available to watch the camera live you would not have video to review later…..just an alarm notification and missing property.

    I got this camera to monitor the cat litter area as one of my cats was rushed to the emergency vet for a blockage and I was worried about it happening again. I love that it has two cameras to give two views, although one view is stationary. However, the other camera can pan around and it works quite well. The quality of the image and the sound is really good! It's motion activated so it only turns on when it detects motion and it works extremely well. The auto tracking is the only thing I don't like because it makes a noise when auto tracking and it tracks in a very spastic way, moving back and forth, up and down constantly like it's not sure where the view should go. Between the spastic movement and the sound, my cat would constantly hit at it and try to knock it down. I had to turn that feature off. Other than that, I love that it has night vision and you can either put in an SD card or subscribe to the Cloud for watching the videos later. It offers a 30-day free cloud subscription which was very nice! The app for this camera is very easy to use. I was able to connect it to my Wi-Fi very quickly and it's very convenient to either monitor the area live or watch video recordings. It's been very helpful so far! Although I did not pay for this, the price of $24.99 is extremely reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend this!!

After downloading the app it connects to your local wifi and with the app you can pop in and out of the camera to see what's going on at your house while you're out and about. The night vision is pretty good too. You can clearly see what's going on at night with no lights on. Great value.
