It works well and I can go easy mode and have the camera do it for me so I just have to look at framing, or I can get much greater control of aperture, shutter speed, and flash. Needs a ttl flash but definitely worth the peice.

50mm 1.8 add-on lens produces nice bokeh and can also get a decent wide shot.

My husband always wanted the Canon rebel and he was nicely surprised when he received it. He began using it right away. Only thing was the tripod was defective but they right away sent a replacement. I just hope this refurbished package works properly for a long time because my husband LOVES taking photos and videos!!

Gunna be straight with you, I mainly ordered this camera to use a webcam to record videos and live stream unfortunately I'm not sure if its this camera specifically the 2000D model but there's no clean HDMI out, I ordered the proper attachments to connect it to my PC I ran it through my Elgato cam link ( no signal ) each time, I spoke with everyone from canon customer service to Elgato customer service but we just came to a conclusion it was the camera. This camera took terrific photos and decent videos so if that's what you're going for then yes buy it. I ended up returning this and ordering the m50 mark ii and it was basically plug & play I could stream and do everything I needed it to right out the box.

EOS 2000D had to go to Canon International to get drivers and "correct" owners manual.
Don't get me wrong VERY GOOD deal would recommend.
Lots of things to learn in using a DSLR camera for the first time nice bundle that they put together.
Delivery was quick and packaging good.
I do not think it is a "grey market camera"
