The Sony a7Cm2 advanced imaging system is powered by a 33MP full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor and the BIONZ XR processor, a combination capable of 10-bit 4K imagery at up to 30 fps or a top continuous shooting rate of 10 fps with AF and AE using either the mechanical or electronic shutter. The new focus system powered by an artificial intelligence (AI) chip is a huge improvement over my Sony a7m4. It locks on and sticks like glue. Not sure how to algorithm works but boy are my photos sharp and the focus has improved in some of my non Sony lenses.

I have a Sony A7RV full-frame, and want to find a compact version for occassions when I need a smaller one. In general, Sony A7C II is very good in almost every aspect, but not the image sensor, which has only 33m, even much less than 40m of some APS/C' camera's sensor (e.g. Fujifilm XT-5). So it may be suitable for portrait and daily life, but not so good for landscape photographer.
