5.0 out of 5 stars Love the style & design

Despite owning pricey camera backpacks in the past, none have truly won me over, until now (hopefully it holds up). This backpack, although more budget-friendly, exceeded my expectations, especially after reading some negative reviews regarding its quality. I'm loving the design and style, the canvas feels high-quality, that feels both sturdy and soft to the touch. While the nylon lining seems a bit thin, I'm hoping it will endure. So far, I simply adore its aesthetic appeal.

I snagged this bag for an upcoming work trip, and I've already packed it with all my camera gear and my 15-inch laptop. Right now, it's housing my Canon R6 Mark ii with my go-to 50mm 1.4 EF lens attached, along with a couple of other lenses. I need to do a bit of rearranging with the dividers, but overall, I'm loving it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great mid-size camera bag that also can use as a bag for non-camera items.

Over all this camera bag as worked well. Brought it to Universal Studios (FL) to put it through its paces.
Pros: stylish and practical functionality. The top half with draw string closure worked well. The camera portion in lower half worked equally well. For my purposes on this trip, just brought the camera and single lense, so didnt really need the extra compartments. (Future trips, definitely will use them). Quick access side panel was great. Being able to get the camera out without opening the main camera section was very useful.

Cons: Wish the camera access was on the left side of the bag. (Its on the right). Because i am right handed, often hand the bag slung on right shoulder, swinging it down in front of me, camera access on wrong side so the whole bag had to come off. (Minor issue, but my other bags have the camera access on the other side so slinging around the bag to my front, can easily get to the camera without taking bag off.). I will try seeing if I can try wearing on my left shoulder.
Second issue was the shoulder strap slipped several times completely through the buckle, causing my bag to slip off. The strap material was a bit slippery and think that may have contributed to it. I ended up tying the extra strap material around itself to prevent it from slipping though. However, now i dont have any slack to adjust the straps when wearing it. When I get home from my trip I will take some velcro straps to wrap around the loose end which should take care of it.
Third issue, the top flap is secured down with a magnet behind the fake buckle. I liked that feature in that I did not need to struggle with a buckle to get in, but I ran into occasions where the top flap would catch on something minor and pop open. I just made sure the cinch strings were always drawn tight, but a little frustrating at times. Also, the use of the magnet did not allow to stuff too much in the top or it would pop open.
Last issue, no quick access zipper pockets on the outside. There are side pockets, which are great, used to slip sunglasses in and felt secure. I just like small zipper pockets that I can store small loose items and not worry about them falling out. Just a preference on my part.

Overall... I would recommend this bag as a medium sized camera bag. For me, this worked perfect for a blend of camera bag and backpack. I have had difficulty finding a bag like this. Usually its all ‘camera’ with no room for jacket, sweatshirt or other travel items. Oh, forgot the laptop slot on the back of the back. Works great! Fit my iPad Pro in there perfectly with its keyboard. This bag perfectly fit my needs for midsize bag. Disclosure, I have several other camera bags ranging from large, holding all my accessories to a small over shoulder sling that just holds the camera and an extra lens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Camera Bag!

This is a great camera bag. Holds a ton of stuff. Everything feels super secure, and it is stylish. Took it on a plane as my carry on and then hiking in the rainforest (in light rain) and it was excellent. Love the extra storage in the top for personal stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far, so good! (Updates to come)

So far, I’m loving this bag! I bought it in the khaki color (the photos of the bag laying down represent its actual color the best, the one sitting up is lighter due to the window). It’s super spacious and feels very durable. I was able to fit all my camera equipment into it and still have some extra space if needed, and that doesn’t include the top space for extra stuff or the laptop compartment. It actually feels very lightweight compared to my old camera bag, and the padding is pretty thick. Everything feels secure and comfortable when put on. I’m excited to be trying this back out for the next two weeks while I’m taking some summer trips, so I’ll be sure to come back with updates on how well it upheld my trips (especially since a lot of reviews talk about the nylon ripping). We shall see in due time!
UPDATE:
I've had this bag for almost three weeks and so far nothing has happened. There's been no rips or tears, and it holds everything up very well. I took it on two different trips this past week, and I constantly open it up and move it around my apartment. I would purchase the additional warranty just in case because it'll be more helpful to spend the extra few dollars just in case something does happen to it. Hope this helps!
