5.0 out of 5 stars Great lens for the price

This lens is great for someone starting to get into photography (like myself). There is definitely a learning curve to manual focus, but turning on the peaking assist I have been able to get some great shots. I have used a tripod, but I have also shot handheld and still have great image quality. I have had to delete quite a few photos, but I put on “continuous” shooting mode and this seems to work very well for me. You can still use your camera in “auto” where the only thing you have to adjust is the focus. I think this lens is great for the price, I will be continuing to use it to get pictures of the hummingbirds in the backyard.

5.0 out of 5 stars not bad at all

ok, besides the obvious chromatic aberrations and lack of crispness, this lens is worth the money in my opinion! the focus ring is tight, but that's alright because it allows better fine adjustments. the focal length doesn't actually lock out, but it's tight enough that it doesn't move when focusing. if you're wanting a thousand dollar lens, pay the money, but for the $50ish bucks i paid for this, i'm extremely happy (as long as it doesn't fall apart).

2.0 out of 5 stars Great but not really worth the cost

While this absolutely does work once you finally figure it all out the fact that the tripod mount broke the first time I went to tighten it down is disastrous. It is some of the cheapest looking and feeling plastic that I have seen in a while i would find another brand and absolutely go with a better version for f the tripod mount.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great reach for the money, but tricky to get a sharp photo
Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2024
Messaged the seller and they kindly sent me the adapter for M4/3. I have an Olympus EM-1. Took a shot of the moon the other night. It took about 20 shots to get a sharp one. Used a solid tripod and the built in intervalometer. This is a fun lens if you enjoy experimenting with your camera's manual options.
