5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality

I bought these on with a coupon code for $10. I wasn't expecting the high quality. They are made with durable materials and work very well.

The monocular came with two straps, a cleaning cloth, a durable case, and a phone attachment. Also has a place to put on monopod or tripod.

The phone attachment was easy to use. Just took a couple minutes to adjust. It's easier to attach it to the phone first. Then to the monocular. I attached it to a monopod to video, and it was amazing. I was surprised at the quality of the video from a distance. One of the best deals I've had on amazon.

These monoculars look very sleek and very simple and easy to handle. Looking through the eye peice you can easily adjust it to see clearly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Monocular, regrettably with some shortcomings

The Cammoo Monocular comes in a sturdy, good looking box. It can be used for storage and you can take it along for a walk - just adjust the provided strap to carry it in your hand or on the shoulder.

The device is well-made, the body (made of plastic or polymer) looks good and solid.
It's said to be "IPX7 Fog & Waterproof", which means it has a pretty good protection against water and moisture and unknown level of protection against dust. This is now a common level of protection for outdoor electronics.

The cover cap for the front lens is attached to the monocular with a rubber ring, potentially can slip away if you're not careful. The protective cap for the eyepiece is on its own, but it has a loop so I put it on the handheld strap to make sure I won't lose it on a trail.

The manual is OK, but not comprehensive. It says nothing about how to attach the hand-held strap and misses on couple other minor things.

The Cammoo gives a crystal crisp picture, I really liked it! The view-port is not too large - looking at some object from 36 yards away my view-port was just about 10 by 10 feet, so dealing with moving objects "target acquisition" might be a bit of a challenge. I think this monocular is better suited for static objects. I had fun looking at an owl sitting on a branch, the clarity was very good.

You tune it in by turning the focus knob. Right-handed people can use an index finger while holding the monocular in the right hand. Left-handed are at disadvantage - someone with a good dexterity may learn how to use a thumb, if not help with other hand, or perhaps turn it so the focus knob is on the top and lose the strap (see the pictures).

I had some issue with the smart phone attachment and my older Samsung phone. I’m sure some 13-year-old kid would make it work in seconds, but I prefer a camera anyway.

The biggest disappointment was a hand-held strap. The pad is actually good, but the strap with a small plastic fastener refuses to stay where you want it - it loosens every minute and I had to tighten it up many while walking on a trail.

In the end I like the monocular, but I’m a bit disappointed that they made a good optical device and failed where things should be really easy! It should not be difficult to make a good, reliable strap with a dependable fastener. To make it even better the manufacturer may consider making the monocular ambidextrous, with regard to the hand-held strap. Little things can be very important.

UPDATE:
Two days after posting this review I was contacted by the Cammoo Customer service. They seem genuinely concerned about keeping customers happy, to the point of replacing the item with a new one if this is what it takes. I don’t need a replacement, but I think this is very important, so I am increasing my rating to 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive Monocular
Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2022
This is a very impressive monocular, it has one of the clearest views and great distance view. It comes with a nice semi-hard case, a few straps, lens cleaners and phone mount. So far, it has not fogged up on me in the cold morning air. I just can not believe the quality of the view and i really am happy with this purchase.

The Cons:
1. I’m personally not a huge fan of the phone mount at all and think that it’s a waste of time and money. it takes for ever to line up your phone for a picture. I’m not sure if there is a better design for something like this or not.

2. No mount, a lot of the other monoculars that i have purchased came with a mount. Get rid of the phone mount and give this a good tripod, because this monocular deserves a good tripod.

Overview: I really enjoy using this monocular and i really fell like the phone mount is a giant waste of time. I have to give this 5 stars just for the monocular, case, and straps alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, easy-to-use, great for eyeglass wearers
Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2022
Never thought I would have a use for a monocular telescope, but as a person who wears glasses sometimes binoculars don't complement well and makes it harder to focus and use. So I gave this monocular a chance, and i'm impressed. It's much easier to focus especially where the knob is located and you can just pick up and use whereas a binocular you would need to adjust it to your face width and then focus. The quality of the binocular is also very good. It's got good weight and lens looks well-made. Plus it's easy to hold and is comfy. The only knock on this are more about the accessories. There isn't any instructions on how to attach the strap and when I do get it attached, it doesn't hold in place and just slides off with the slightest tug. Will have to figure out how to get it to work unless I just have a bad strap. Also, the case that comes with it is very nice and sturdy but it's bigger than expected and I'm not a fan of it as a carry-on bag even though it fits all the other accessories. It would have been better if the bag was smaller but that's my preference. Overall, great monocular telescope!

4.0 out of 5 stars Really sharp, detailed
Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2023
These are a good basic monocular that comes with a nice storage case. You can see a little at night, depending on what you're looking at and what kind of area you're in. During the day tho, they're really sharp, crisp and detailed. I don't know exactly what distance they do what percentage at but it's alot compared to the naked eye. If I had to estimate I'd say that across a 40 acre field it's at its best while being capable of seeing further. It's lightweight, easy to carry. Somewhat easy to hold onto but it's big enough that it can be challenging. I don't really have any negatives about it, it's pretty nice overall and sturdy.
