This was easy to use, its compact and the camera viewer turns around so you can watch yourself if youre recording. My 10 year old son has never held a camcorder or seen one and he knew exactly how to use it. He records his action figures and he has a ton of videos already where hes making movies with his characters. The videos are clear and it also has really clear sound. Its definitely for a beginner.

cute and small and very easy to use. the quality is kinda bad but it’s a cheap camcorder so that’s to be expected, and i think it gives a cool vintage look to the videos

The media could not be loaded.
Compared to a similarly priced camcorder, this is a decent quality camera. Obviously it is only $40 so it can only be so good. But I would recommend it if you're looking for a cheap camcorder.

- Decent video quality (including 1080p @ 60fps)
- Zoom is alright (digital zoom)
- Decent in low light
- Light on the front is bright

I can't speak to the battery life yet.

Bought this for my son in Nov and gave it to him for Christmas eve. 24 hours later, the battery would not take a charge and it would not turn on. I filed the return on Christmas day, and got the replacement a week later. After 1 use, the new camera would not take a charge. It only turns on when plugged in.

This was the highlight present he loved the most, but after months of trying to get it to work, its just wasted money. No ability to return and ask for a 3rd one. Whats the point?

Got this as a Xmas present for my son and he loves it but after only 4 months the batteries will not hold a charge, purchased new batteries and the camera will only work if it’s plugged in. So no moving around with it. Very disappointing
