Overall, the camera is simple to use, takes great pictures (most of mine were outdoors) and is very light and compact in size. For general use this is a great camera for the cost. Battery life was ok but you are provided two batteries so I was able to take pictures for full day excursions to Italy.
One improvement is to shorten the focus time - the event in a couple shots came and left before the camera focused and stored the picture. Luckily i was usually aware of this watching the nice LCD screen so I would reset the frame and take another picture.
