I got this for my Sony FX 30, and it's wonderful! I needed some kind of strap to use on my camera during a vacation, and this came in handy! My camera was very secure, and it was easy for me to point and shoot at a moment's notice. With this wrist strap, I didn't have to worry about dropping my camera at all.

FYI: I do have a small cage on my camera so applying the wrist strap to it was a bit tricky, but applying it can be done.

I often shoot hanging over the edge of a boat. I trust this strap to keep my $5,000. camera from being dropped or flung into the water. I have installed a QR swivel to the strap that snaps in and out of a hole on the bottom of my L bracket. I don't trust those small wire clips that attach to the neck strap fitting on the top corners of the cameras. When not in the boat I just unclip the wrist strap. As it is made from what looks like 550 cord, I suspect one could unravel it should the situation arise where you needed a cord in an emergency as well. Fairly comfortable to have sinched around your wrist, but I don't think I would want to wear it for 8 hours.

I had not tried a wrist strap with any camera before I bought this one. If it was a point-and-shoot, I'd just hold it in my hand, and if it was a D/SLR I'd use a padded neck strap. This wrist strap has made me a convert. I like how readily my camera is available to shoot when held in one hand with a strap versus around my neck. This one is well made, looks cool and works really well. It's easy to slip my hand through and grasp the camera. Might be a bit small for larger hands.

I bought this strap for my Fuji X-T5. It attaches to the original strap rings mostly fine - the paracord is slightly thick, but can be squeezed to fit.

I find the strap too stiff and it gets in the way of gripping the camera. This could be because my wrists are small (about 7 inches), but it's uncomfortable and I bought something else to replace it. I suspect that this strap is capable of securing a larger, more DSLR-shaped camera easily.

For a larger camera, I think this strap is recommendable, but not for a similarly small camera as mine.
