Surprisingly good build quality for such a tiny and inexpensive unit. Works quite well for something that fits into your front pocket.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Concerts
Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2024
This small binocular works great for me. I use it when I go to a concert because I can only afford the cheap seats in the "nose bleed" section of the concert venue. It works fine and enables me to see the performers on stage actually performing! I have also used this small binocular when I was closer to the front to see the facial expressions of the performers and the musicians playing their instruments. I do get jealous glances from the people sitting around me, but they should have bought this little binocular and brought it with them too! I have never gotten hassled by the people checking bags at the door to the concerts about bringing it in so that's never a problem. The only negative is the last time I went to a concert, I forgot it at home and boy did I really miss it! I give this little binocular five stars for being small and practical. It's not a big, powerful, fancy binocular but that is not what it is for; it does what it is suppose to do. It enhances my experience at concerts and enables me to view the performance better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little binoculars

Small, lightweight binoculars that are perfect for carrying on walks at the beach with my dog and checking out the birds and boats. Nice carrying case, too. They are easy to adjust
For any 50cc I highly recommend these to get you up to 0 to 20 in a short amount of time. The quality is above OEM. Now I can keep up with traffic better coming off a red light and I don't lose top speed but by a mile an hour. Shifts later for maximum take off.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good for hunting and not bulky.

I used them at a night race at Bristol. The coated lenses are very helpful at night. I carry them hunting with me because they are not bulky. They do well for anything unless you are looking farther than 200 yards. They are built better than I thought when I open the box. Not a waste of money!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as terrible as you might think...

I'm reviewing the 8x21 version of these. Note that this particular pair is produced by the millions in China and stamped with various silly made-up words like "Poldr" or whatever random Latin letters were smushed together to create a "brand name" that will be extinct in another year or two. They're all the same and you'll be able to recognize them by their shape.

I'm a binocular aficionado, I have several pairs. I wanted to get a pair that I could take to the third-world on vacation and not worry if they were lost, stolen or broken. These are decent ones for that purpose.

They are, in fact, 8x magnification, compared with my other (good) 8x binoculars, so that's nice. A lot of the cheapie no-name binocs overstate their magnification. Anything over 10x in this price range probably isn't that powerful. At this price-range, don't go higher than 8x because you won't be able to hold them steady and they will be dark and difficult to see through.

Fit and finish are pretty bad. The lenses are reasonably clear, however. Clarity falls away around the edges of the glass, as should be expected at this price-point. Collimation is barely ok. Focus knob is surprisingly smooth. The leash/neck strap cannot be removed so I took scissors and cut it off because I won't be needing it for binoculars this cheap. If I drop them off a cliff it's not exactly a big deal.

Carrying pouch is cheap and poor but usable. The brand name that's printed on the item can be removed with some rubbing alcohol and a fingernail, which is nice.

Overall, for the price, these are 4 stars. Quality compared to everything available in all price ranges is 2 stars. Averaged out to 3. Your mileage may vary because I have a feeling the quality control of these is terrible. Keep purchasing and returning until you get a decent pair. Or just spend more and get something you don't have to screw around with such as Bushnell, Nikon, Celestron...

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice compact binoculars, perfect for concerts
Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2024
Purchased two pairs of these binoculars to take to concerts and they work pretty good. Once adjusted they were clear and provided crisp, close up viewing- although with all the large screens I found we didn't use them as much as I'd anticipated we would. I use them more for bird watching at home and keep them by the window for easy access- and because their so small thay don't take up much space. Fits easily in a purse or jacket pocket, or you can use the included cord and hand them from your neck. They come in a small pouch for storage and overall they are a good buy for the price.

Cheap but works as expected. Compact. Daughter enjoyed it at the event. I Like the size. Has a strap but I would let them dangle free.
