Takes great shots when you figure out how! The camera itself (and lenses) is wonderful! Howeve the user's guide could stand a little toughing up! With bigger print! I'm not as young as I used to be and it is hard for me to see. old age? Glad I bought this kit though. Lot's of good stuff.
Edit: There are three spots apparently on the mirror as they turn up in every single shot no matter which lens is use. Two are bright white and one is bright red.
Canon Support was great when I called about those spots. Sent a pre-paid UPS shipping label so I could send it back to have it looked at. Seems as though it may have a small bit of dust on the sensor?
Takes wonderful photos otherwise!

Sent my camera to Canon for repair. Got it back and it worse than it was. I should have bought a Nikon.

Amazing bundle. I have not used everything yet. I feel like i have only scratched the surface on learning how to use my camera and accessories. Takes beautiful pictures. I have gone to a couple of free photography workshops at Best Buy and am learning how to use the manual settings for different subjects. The auto-settings work very well, I just want to be able to understand what affect changing the shutter speed and or aperture do to the image.

The camera is exactly what it should be. The additional items it came with are all fantastic. We feel like even more stuff came then was advertised. 4 SD cards. 2 36 GB and 2 16 GB cards. Along with a plastic case to store them all. Photo and Video software which has good tutorials to teach how to use them. Package arrived when it said it would and had no damage. I was surprised however by the size of the box. It was much larger then I thought it would be.

I LOVE this camera! It takes such amazing photos. Multiple people have commented on the recent increase of quality in my photos and I love it. I love all of the extras and find myself using just about all of them. The tripod seems flimsy because of how light weight it is compared to the weight of the camera, but it does its job. Very happy with this purchase.

The tripods are pretty cheap. Any $40 tripod is better than this. When I ordered it they forgot both as cards. I called and they sent 1 32gb SS cars not two like the bundle has. I gave up not wanting to go through the hassle.
The camera is great for a beginner. The raw files are pretty good and manual mode is easy to use with the scroll wheel. The attachable flash module is a little cheap but usable. Overall this kit is a great value for the money and great for just starting out. If you start getting serious about photography just eventually get better lenses and accessories.

Now that I've had a chance to use this camera I can leave a glowing review. The camera is easy to use. The size is great, it isn't too heavy and the photographs are clear and vibrant. This is an excellent purchase. The camera was shipped promptly, and everything arrived in mint condition. The editing software is easy to use, and the camera bag is comfortable to carry. I enjoy getting to practice with the different lenses. All in all this is a great Canon camera.
