I’ve been using Insta360 products for a few years and I love them. This is my first time purchasing a GO series camera. I was waiting until Insta360 came out with a 4k one. I’ve had the GO 3S for about a week and I’ve had a lot of time to play with it. It has completely changed how I capture and share moments from my daily life. As someone who values simplicity and being fully present in the moment, this is actually the perfect camera for me. I think I will be using it more than my X2 and ONE RS.
One of my favorite features is its hands-free design, which allows me to capture footage without needing to actually hold the camera. This frees me to fully engage in whatever activity I'm doing, whether it's hiking, cooking, or anything else. The magnetic mounting accessories are genius—they securely attach to clothing, hats, my car any pretty much anything metal.
There’s even a mode where the camera will turn on by itself every few minutes and record a video. This is awesome because I don’t have to even think about it at that point. Then I take all of my footage, load it into my Insta360 app and the auto editor makes me a video. How cool is that?! As someone who isn't a video editing expert, this is a HUGE bonus for me and it’s included for free.
I always used my cell phone for these daily life videos but I never got around to actually editing any of the footage so it just sits on iCloud.
It’s also cool that it pops out of its case and is super tiny. And the case can recharge it like my AirPods. It’s a very well thought out product and I 10/10 recommend it for anyone who wants to capture effortless footage and for folks like me who don’t know how to edit or don’t have the time to.
