    I purchased this eSIM for my iPhone 12 Pro and was able to set it up easily. It worked as expected for my week long trip in Japan. I set up the eSIM while in Taiwan and had no way to validate that it would work until we landed in Japan but had no issues at all.

    This is actually the 2nd time I've bought this and it worked great the 1st time. The one I received couple days ago did not work at all. I've used plenty of these international data sims and it's pretty common sense to use but this simple just isn't working. They claim no activation or anything just turn on data roaming... Didn't work. Sucks, left me stranded at the airport (Haneda airport wifi sucks).

    Trying to get a hold of customer support? Nah don't bother. They won't reply.

    Stay away and buy another sim or just pay a little more and get one at a vending machine in the airport. It's what I had to do, due to this not working.

    We landed in the Frankfurt airport in Germany in Oct 17th. I put this sim card right away, and got a good 4G signal. We traveled to Venice, Three Greece islands, Athens, Croatia, Slovenia, Ephesus, and Istanbul. We got very reliable 4G signals in these counties. In the beginning, I worry about if this sim works in Turkey, since only few sims work in this area and they are pricy too. This sim card is very reliable in Turkey and counties it promised. Thumb up!

    This sim card works but it will take some time to be activated. For my case, I inserted it just before getting off the plane and restart my phone. Followed all instructions and add new APN, no service. Struggled to restart a few times and gave up. On my way ro the hotel, it suddenly worked. Then no issues anymore.

    On my last visit to Japan, I struggled to get my iPhone to work. My carrier in the US doesn't offer service in Japan so it was a challenge to make calls and text home. I won't bore you with the details of the issues I encountered but rather I'll just tell you how this SIM card solved my problem.

    I got an idea when I purchased my JR Pass and they offered me a pocket WiFi device. They'd charge $63 for seven days, 3gb data limit per day at 4G speed before it's throttled to 256k. Not bad, but it was a hassle to get and return the device. Limited locations. Poor hours. Late penalties. Lose it, pay for it ($140).

    I figured I could use an old unlocked Android phone as a portable hotspot. I bought this SIM for around $20, put it in the phone, and turned on data roaming. After a minute or two, it connected.

    I burned through the 10gb of high speed data in the first two or three days, then used it at 128k. It worked great with my devices. Using a VPN and WiFI calling on my iPhone 15, I was able to receive and make calls and texts using the old Android phone as a hotspot, and I didn't have to worry about running out data. I only used it for a week but it would have lasted fifteen days. It worked fine in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Hakodate. At 128k, for websites it was very slow, but no problem with calls and texting.

    I bought the SIM card to be used during my travel to Switzerland one of the listed countries to use it. I installed the card and immediately received a welcome message and got excited. However I didn’t get any internet connection then received a message that I already used 4 GB and within 2 minutes my balance was Zero while I failed to get any internet connection. I could even order an uber to take me to the hotel. Don’t buy it. It doesn’t work. Amazon should stop selling this item.
