    I used these SIM cards to assist a friend who had a phone but did not have service. I am not very experienced with technology so I was a bit nervous. We followed the instructions step by step and found them to be quite clear and easy to follow. This was beneficial as I was anxious about this Not only were the instructions clear but they also had online help that was helpful and easy to understand. There were SIM cards for 3 carriers (AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile) to choose from. We looked at our area and determined which would work the best and activated the plan that was appropriate. We now have a working phone on a preferred carrier with minimal effort really.

    I have had Net 10 a long time & Verizon has the best reception where I live. But I wanted a new rugged phone and I thought I could just switch my sim. I did that and tried to make a call & received a message that told me to put my sim in my old phone & call customer service. When I did that customer service told me to buy a new sim for the new phone & they would transfer it over. But when I called back with the new sim I was told I could not activate my new phone on their service and they quickly game me my account number and a port pin. The moral of this story is, you have to check the IMEI number of each phone on the prepaid carrier website & you cannot do that without first buying the phone. This sim does not include air time so you only pay for the sim from Amazon and pay the bill at activation. It is exclusive to Verizon and you should check your service on that carrier as well,

    When I tried to use it on my phone, technical support had issues.

    Package is substantially different than what is currently sold by Net10.

    Net10 was not able to resume my service with this product.

    This is the first time I have ordered or installed a SIM card, and inside the packaging was a card with directions and a number to call if you need help, listing the name Paul. He answered immediately, talked me through the entire process, and guided me on the steps I needed to take to activate. Well worth 8 dollars and then some.

    took 5 min to transfer my old phone to my new phone using the net10 website. popped the sim card in while i was doing the stuff online. when i was finished i turned my old phone off, and turned my new phone on. new phone was activated. (also this comes with t-mobile/att/verizon and i only needed the verizon as thats what my phone required)
