I was given one of these for Christmas 2023. I love it. I can keep the portable charger in my pocket and access it quickly. It doesn't require a charging cord since it's an all-inclusive one-piece apparatus. I purchased this second one for my son. He can keep it in his backpack at school.

I attended the Kentucky Derby this past weekend. I was able to recharge my phone quickly. I also loaned it to two friends, and they were able to give their iPhones a quick charge too. All three of us were able to make it through the entire event without our phones running out of power. I fully recommend it.

This was great when I was traveling in Europe! It was able to give two full phone charges when it was fully charged, and it was easy to continue using my phone like normal while this pack was plugged into it. It takes awhile to fully recharge the battery itself, but it’s a piece of cake to just leave charging overnight. Looking forward to having this with me on some trips and for some festivals coming up! Certainly the lightest weight little battery pack that I’ve ever had. Very convenient to toss into a small clutch or fanny pack!

**Update: The replacement Anker sent me has now also failed, as have the other two units I purchased for family members. Buy any other Anker product because Anker stuff is great but DO NOT BUY THIS CHARGER!

**Update: Anker customer service responded within minutes to my inquiry and they are sending a replacement. While it seems like durability is an issue with this particular product, I will continue buying Anker products as none of the other products I own of theirs has ever had an issue, and their customer support was top notch. **

I love Anker products. So when I discovered this little power bank that didn’t require any cords to charge my iPhone, I was excited. It worked great for about 4 months but now will not charge any device I plug it into even though the power bank itself shows it’s fully charged. I have reached out to Anker support and will update this review if I get the issue resolved.

Small
Portable
Easy to use
Will get you about 80% charge on a iPhone 12 Pro Max

Cons
Will only charge iPhones
No pass through charging
(You can’t charge battery pack and iPhone at same time)
The usb c is only to charge the battery pack, you can’t plug a usb c cord and use it to charge other devices

I bought 3 of these chargers, 1 doesn’t work at all. Overall I do like them and would recommend the Anker battery pack.

If you’re looking for a battery pack that will get you 100% fully charged and have a little power left over get the Anker 633 magnetic battery pack, it’s better and cheaper then the $99 iPhone version.

I’m routinely buying chargers. I use these little ones for day trips. I used to have to rely on them heavily till I bought a new better phone. But I like to take pictures, so I need to have back up power. This little Device is perfect. It’s has a very good connection to my iPhone, which is something I haven’t experienced in other models. And it charges very quickly. Highly recommend.

Fun fact: the alighting cable part will snap off when you attach it to your phone, put it in your pocket, and play at the park for a few hours…who knew? Well, my 8 yr old didn’t. He probably should have though. It’s not this things fault it broke. I’d highly recommend it for its portability. It’s also cheap enough to teach kids about how fragile things can be. Also took it apart after to show how they work. Almost worth it just for that $15 science lesson.

Update: Customer Service was on it and sent me a new one right away. Works just like the original did when I first got it. Completely fine. I’ll be adding a star to my review. Will update again in 6 months,

Broke after 6 months. The unit itself will charge up fine. The connector piece to charge my phone up is no longer working. Not sure if it has to do with the fact that the piece flips up and down to store it away but if you plan to use it everyday, I would go with something that can physically last past a year
