This is the 3rd one I bought because they work great. We snorkel with this pouch and phone stays dry.

Before I begin Please Note: I tested it out in my kitchen first by placing a tissue paper in the case and submerged it for a few hours, as risking my phone is something I am not comfortable with. And I strongly recommend testing it like this before using each time to ensure their are no unseen holes or tears in the case from usage. My GF purchased this on my account for our vacation so it was used on the beach, in the pool and in the open ocean! I also did daily checks for a few minutes in the hotel sink we were at to ensure our active lifestyle did not break it and give me a bad surprise down the road.

Pro- Its really waterproof! Worked great in the pool, on the beach and even in the ocean. I took pictures with my iPhone 6S with no issues as well as with my GF's Galaxy S6. Pictures were clear and those that weren't it was nothing a little quick cleaning of the plastic could not fix. I even took pictures in a pool from underwater and they came out great!

Cons- MY GF surprised me and decided to go Scuba Diving. I am certified and she is not and was always sacred to try, and thought this would work best. While it protected my phone, I could not unlock, swipe or take pictures. The water pressure sealed it in but it also made it useless to use the touch screen. However in fairness I do not think it was truly designed for that but I am happy to report that it does work even in deep water.

Final judgement: For the price ($7.99 at the time of this review) its totally worth it for any vacation or trip to protect your phone from water and other damage. Very useful for pool, beach and shallow water swimming for both water and sand. I recommend it for parents with kids so they can take some nice pics at the water parks and such as it certainly held together the whole week with no issues. I have nieces and nephews I will use this with. If you want something for Scuba Diving, I recommend either another product or placing the phone on video record for the whole dive and just edit the video when you get home.

FYI- This review was written only a week after returning from vacation, so the information was fresh in my mind.

Good so far. It’s gotten very wet (not quite submerged) while kayaking and did its job well. Easy to open and close. I have a thick otter box on my iPhone and I have had trouble finding a waterproof bag that would fit over this bulky (but necessary for my clumsy self) cell phone case. I also liked the easy latches on top for open and close as opposed to some other brands having an unreliable zipper or clip that lets water in. No hard use by me yet, just day trips in the kayak to fish. 5/5 would recommend.

3 days in my pocket at a water park. No leaks, despite being dropped on the bottom of a pool twice and a water slide once. Does its job perfectly.

The one complaint I have is the connector for the strap is weak and mine broke. Not hard to replace with something more sturdy.

First, I want to acknowledge that this product *does* keep my phone dry when submerged in water. It works in that regard. Also, my phone is quite old - it's an iphone 7. As such, I still have a home button. I cannot use the home button at all when my phone is in this pouch - so I can't use the phone, and it defeats the whole purpose of purchasing the product. I want my phone with me when I'm in the pool or whatever so I can listen to music, respond to messages, keep timers for sun exposure, etc. The plastic is thick and I sort of have to jab the screen sometimes to get it to respond; sometimes the pressure from my finger spreads out and acts like I'm touching a large part of the screen instead of one spot. So again, not ideal. I also have to take my phone out of its case so that it fits in the pouch? My phone is a standard 5.5 in long iphone 7, it's not an XL. Part of it is the phone case material, but it genuinely will not go into the bag in a way that will let me close it.

I'm not returning this product because at the end of the day, I know my phone model is outdated so some of these issues may be related to that, and because the basic function of keeping the phone dry is accomplished. I just can't use my phone at all when I do use this. I really wanted this to be the perfect solution for me, but it's not.
