    The Comfort Colors Adult Heavyweight Short Sleeve Tee is pleasing and priced well. The sizing does not constrict my arms or torso as most T-shirts do. The color is rich. The material is soft and not thin - it's strong.

    This shirt was featured in the New York Times Wirecutter column, which rightly shouted its praise. Inexpensive, soft, strong.

    Just make sure you buy the right size. I'm 6'3 and weigh 173 lb and the large hung on me. The medium was better, and it was also long enough (though a bit of extra length would have been nice - wish they came in tall sizes).

    Color selection is adequate but could be better.

    These were recommended by an independent review or outside of Amazon. My husband purchased these to try them. He likes them. Says the cotton is soft, and they wash up well. Fit is close to the body, which is what he wanted to wear under clothing. Shrinkage is average -what you would get for a cotton T-shirt. Price is good.

    I reviewer on NYT's Wirecutter highly recommended this T-shirt brand. While I don't agree they are the best T-shirt on the market, as the reviewer suggested, I do agree that they are a very good T-shirt for the price. I'd call them medium-weight, not heavy-weight. Upon first inspection after receiving them I didn't think they were as soft as I had expected given the Wirecutter reviewer's impression, but after having gone through one washing they were much softer. I have since ordered three more as they look nice, and are well made. I also like the slightly wider collar than what one typically finds in lesser expensive brands. Most inexpensive T-shirts have narrow collars that won't lie flat, but not these. I typically wear small sized T-shirts and found the small size here perfect. These are a great find.

    You need to get a size larger on these but they are well made. I purchased several colors. They are nice.

    I love every minute I spend in these Tees! The colors are holding up perfectly and there is absolutely no shrink in the washer and dryer.

    I did notice the hemlines curl a bit after the dryer so I might choose to hang dry to make sure they last as long as possible.

    The quality, look and feel make these a perfect purchase, and a long-term favorite.

    I had high hopes after the absolutely gushing review in Wirecutter in the NYT. I'm always looking for a tshirt upgrade for a reasonable price.

    I was underwhelmed by the product I received. It seemed to bear no relation to what was reviewed. It was scratchy and slippery, not a "feeling of a lush, almost buttery cotton draped over my shoulders."
    The overall weight is nice but it doesn't really "drape" although maybe that will change after a few more washes.

    The overall fit is...odd. Tight around the shoulders, loose around the chest and a collar that stands uncomfortably high.

    There are other retailers that sell much softer heavyweight cotton Ts for just a couple bucks more if you buy on sale. After buying t-shirts from a couple dozen different sellers, sometimes at ridiculous prices, I keep coming back to the same mainstream very well known retailer that combines a huge selection with some great prices on sale. They all seem to be made of quality long lasting fabric and come in a wide variety weights and cuts.

    I was about to give a rating of 2 stars but I think the Wirecutter review raised my expectations too much which made the reality seem worse. 3 stars for a low average t-shirt at a good price.
