5.0 out of 5 stars This device connects EVERYTHING to my Android LG V60 ThinQ

What a wonderful device
It is built with alloy material all the way around .
Very robust connections - Each one feels very tight and secure
USB C cable is above average grade with thick rubber jacket .

Does not need drivers OR power to work .
Plug any USB , memory card , external HDD , in to your device . Phone reads it immediately with no lag or hanging

One thing I would like to advise is to make sure you eject it BEFORE you pull the cable or will get an error stating possible data loss (although I got the error 3 times , I have NOT lost any data )

The HDMI works just as well , enabling me to watch my movies on my phone on my laptop , car video monitors , as well as the flat screen at the hotel we stayed at .

For the price point , you should just buy it . Trust me , you will happy you did ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Multifunction hub for my Apple devices
Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2024
I plugged this hub into the iMac and the Mac Air, which worked seamlessly. I plan to take it on a long cruise, with the anticipated primary use being transferring photos from the SD card reader. But I know I will appreciate being able to charge my phone, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best products I've bought on Amazon
Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2019
I bought this because I needed to connect an HDMI monitor at my office to my 2018 Macbook Pro 15" and wanted something to match the Space Gray finish of my laptop.

Tl;dr: This product far exceeded my expectations in almost every way, and when I came across a minor issue (that was completely my fault), the seller responded immediately and was able to guide me.

DISPLAY:
Using this, I was able to output at the advertised 4K resolution. I did not experience any significant heat from the device and the picture was as sharp as the native 4K USB-C monitor I have at home. I did not experience any lagging or other issues.
My MacBook also did not use any more power or processor utilization displaying via this adapter when compared to the same video played on a native USB-C monitor.

FINISH & BUILD QUALITY:
The adapter is built really well. It's not very heavy but feels solid and, from the outside, feels exactly like my MacBook. The ports themselves are high quality. There's almost no play when cables are plugged in and overall look and feel very high quality.

The finish of the adapter matches my MacBook extremely well. If it weren't for the MOKIN logo, I would believe it was an Apple-made adapter.

Capturing the finish in pictures was hard to do since the light hit it at different angles, but in person it matches almost perfectly.

SD & USB:
I didn't really buy the product for this, but it's definitely a nice touch and I find myself not having to reach for individual dongles as much, since this one does the job. It makes a difference only having one cable plugged directly to the laptop. Obviously there's going to be a speed hit going from USB-C to USB-A due to native differences in speed, but I tested this against an Apple OEM USB-A adapter by moving a battery of files to and from a USB flash drive and there was no real difference in speed between the two.

I did the same test with the same files on a Samsung SD card and found the same results.

OVERALL:
This is a truly exceptional device. It's built very well and performs as well or better than OEM Apple adapters while looking a whole lot better. All of this paired with the exceptional support from the seller make this a no brainer for me.

I don't write reviews often because products rarely stand out to me, but I emphatically recommend this product and the company that stands behind it.

I will update in 6 months after I'm able to put some wear on it with daily use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not working as expected. (Update) Works as expected with Mac
Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2023
(Update. My macbook arrived and the hub works as expected with it. Never worked with the c to a adapter. Mokin reached out to this comment--so I guess that's how they reach out--nothing on their website helped. Still, said I'd rereview after testing on Mac. But beware--does not work on Surface 6 with a C to A adapter)Bought this mainly for two reasons. 1. I am currently between computers and the Surface Pro 6 I'm using in the meantime only has a USB 3 type A port and a Mini DV port. I have an HDMI monitor. I ordered a Macbook to replace my previous computer. The mac has USB C ports and no HDMI port. I also ordered a USB A male/USB C female adapter (shown above as "customers also ordered" to plug this into my Surface to use on my monitor. The device works great in all the other USB and SD card ports, but I only get a black screen and "no device found" on my Surface Pro and "No signal detected" on my monitor. I can't find any way to contact Mokin for any help. I can't find any place to download new drivers if needed. Thus, one of the main functions I bought this for is gone. I'll hold it until my Macbook arrives and see if it works without the USB A to USB C adapter. If it doesn't it's going back. I'm really disappointed at the lack of support and how hard it is to get something to work that should just function without a problem. This is not new tech. I saw one video around 7 years old talking about being able to run an HDMI A to HDMI via a single adapter. Suddenly, what was easy is hard for some reason. Makes no sense. Pain in the butt.
