Gildan vs Fruit of the Loom, Gildan wins

First off, I received the Gildan G500 style instead of the G5000 shirts. After a quick google search I discovered that the G500 and G5000 are identical other than the number, so no problem there.

Second, communication with Threadsy was a little spotty. I asked them about the color and cotton content and their reply answered neither question. I rephrased my question and there was never a response from them. A helpful Amazon customer answered one of my two questions, so I took a chance and ordered the shirts, a 10-pack sport grey "Gildan Unisex-Adult Heavy Cotton T-Shirt, Style G5000, Multipack". They arrived a few days earlier than promised.

Third, these shirts are not what I would call heavy weight. Other online vendors call them medium weight, which seems accurate. The medium weight is perfectly acceptable especially in light of the great price.

The Gildan sport grey shirts are virtually identical to "Fruit of the Loom Men's Eversoft Cotton Stay Tucked Crew T-Shirt" in heather grey except for two things: The Gildan shirts have a tag instead of a silk screen logo, and the Gildan shirts were significantly cheaper. The tags tear off easily enough.

When ordering from the Fruit of the Loom store here on Amazon I've ordered heather grey multipacks twice and each time the shirts were not as described, not as pictured, and the fabric blend was 50/50 (or maybe it was 60/40) instead of the promised 90/10. I returned them both.

TLDR; Gildan sport grey is what everyone else calls heather grey, L size Gildan matches Fruit of the Loom, fabric is 90% cotton and 10% poly, no detectable shrinkage in washer or dryer, very good value.
