    These shorts are excellent for those days where the temperatures are warm and hot and you still want to have a polished look. They are lightweight and fit as expected. The shorts have everything you're looking for in clothing like this. It's pockets provide reasonable space for all your needs without allowing items to slip free when you sit down. Material could be softer, but they remain comfortable and functional during casual or professional outings.

    Fit great. Good color. The primary button is not sewn on very well and looks like it wont last long. They are a good pair of shorts for the price though.

    I really like these shorts! Super comfortable and durable. only downfall is they run small around the waist. I ordered my normal size of 32" and they are super tight. I would strongly recommend ordering a size or two bigger then what you normally wear!

    The first thing look for when reading a review is how the clothing fits on someone my basic height and weight. I saw several reviews that mentioned how these shorts are not slim fit. I seriously discount that statement. I am 6'2", about 190 pounds after losing 32 lbs and at least three inches of my waist line in a contest. Consequently, all of my old golf shorts were WAY too big. Salvation Army. Now looking for newer shorts that actually fit. My thighs are slightly bigger than normal but still some shorts fit as if I was a 20 year old rapper. I'm not, I'm 59. Anyway, the price on these Amazon Essential Golf Shorts was too good to pass up. Bought three pair of the 34" waist. The fit perfectly. The length was at least two inches above the knee and definitely a slim fit, but not too slim. They don't hug the bottom of the thigh. The pockets were nice and ling and there were two belt loops for the back of the shorts next to the spine for extra support with a belt.
    These shorts fit true to size,look good, inexpensive, and I'm going to order three new colors.

    I recently purchased the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 9" Shorts, hoping for a sharp, well-fitting addition to my summer wardrobe. While the shorts do look nice and have a crisp appearance, I encountered some significant issues with their sizing.

    Firstly, the shorts have no give in the waistline and tend to run small. This lack of stretch makes them uncomfortable, especially if you're in between sizes or prefer a bit more flexibility. I find it frustrating that a 33" waist can vary so much between different brands, and even within the same brand depending on the day of the week they were made. Consistency in sizing is crucial, and unfortunately, these shorts fall short in that department.

    I purchased two pairs in different colors, expecting them to fit the same. However, one pair fit just right, while the other was too tight to button. This inconsistency is disappointing, especially when men's sizes are supposed to be actual measurements, not some arbitrary number. It’s challenging to find reliable sizing, and I wish Amazon Essentials would do better in ensuring uniformity across their products.

    Despite these issues, the shorts do have a stylish look and are made of decent quality material. If you can find a pair that fits you well, they might be worth the purchase. However, the inconsistent sizing and lack of stretch in the waist make them a less reliable option for online shopping.

    Overall, while the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 9" Shorts have potential, their sizing inconsistencies are a major drawback. For a brand that aims to provide affordable basics, they need to improve their sizing accuracy to meet customer expectations.

    My husband was in desperate need of new basketball shorts after losing weight. I wanted some simple and plain looking ones. These definitely hit both marks. He said they are super comfortable and true to size. Also light very weight. They look great and not cheap like some brands he's had in the past. He asked me to get a few more pairs in other colors. Can't beat the price.

    I surely did not purchase these for the color. It is more of a dark salmon color than red, but still ugly. And at $7 and change before government theft (AKA taxes) it was worth getting. I normally wear a 36 but have found lately that 36 feels big. So I thought I would try 34. They do fit but just a wee tight in the rear and crouch. But still comfortable. Maybe a 35 (if they make them and they don't) or a stretchy 34 would be perfect.

    They're a keeper.
