These are standard shorts. Decent quality for the price, but not slim. The fit is standard. Whichever reviewer said "order 2 sizes larger" shouldn't be ordering slim fit shorts. The waist size is standard and now I have to reorder my actual size.

I purchased these for my husband in several colors. They wear and wash well. My husband likes the fit and look for everyday wear. I have purchased them in size 31, 32, and 34, all look nice.

They’re really nice-looking and well-made, but jeeeeez, they run small! In shorts, I usually wear a 32-34; based on Amazon’s note, I ordered a 36. Not even close to fitting. Possibly a 40 would’ve fit (we’ll never know, as a 40 was unavailable). Thus, I had to return these.

I surely did not purchase these for the color. It is more of a dark salmon color than red, but still ugly. And at $7 and change before government theft (AKA taxes) it was worth getting. I normally wear a 36 but have found lately that 36 feels big. So I thought I would try 34. They do fit but just a wee tight in the rear and crouch. But still comfortable. Maybe a 35 (if they make them and they don't) or a stretchy 34 would be perfect.

They're a keeper.

Being 6’ 4” I’m always afraid of buying shorts online. They always seem to end up below my knee or 3/4 of the way up my thigh. These are actually as true to size as I could hope for. They are a genuine 9” length and sit above my knee just enough to fit exactly where I want them. Waist was true to size as well. Good quality materials for the price point. I ordered 1 to test and came back for 4 more in different colors. 10 out of 10 would recommend to refresh your summer wardrobe with these.
