I really like this brand/type of JEMITOP shirt. I have 5 now (hooded, collared and long sleeved) and I get quite a few compliments on them. What's really nice is that they are cotton and breathe. This is important when you are in hotter days and sweat can become an issue. Order a size up from normal as cotton does shrink in the dryer. Looks good, feels good and would definitely buy more!!!

Got this for a costume and it's exactly as pictured. There's not really any stretch to the fabric, so if you want something that's going to be a little more flowy, I'd definitely order at least one size up. It worked for the costume and it's a good price point!

Just as advertised, looks great. I love the cotton fabric as opposed to the polyester that is usually used for costume pieces like this. Would recommend.

I got this shirt for my husband, who wears XXL in almost everything - 44" chest. It is just a bit on the snug side for him, which is not great in a Ren Faire costume since the chemise is supposed to fit pretty loose and then be fitted with the vest and other layering pieces.

That being said, it's a very pretty fabric that feels good, and the leather tie that closes it looks great and adds a nice detail to it. I think I might just use it myself as a loose layering piece for costumes.

It is also a hand wash piece - but I expect this from costume garments and I simply add it to my other handwash pieces and do them all at the same time.

It's a decent shirt, particularly for the costume oriented uses indicated.
The short sleeves are nice vs longer, or mid-length with buttons that can be less comfortable if you wear a jacket with this shirt.
It's also a good color - very reminiscent of old world, rough types of fabric in appearance.

My husband, a cosplay enthusiast, recently incorporated the JEMITOP Men's Pure Cotton Vintage Lace Up Shirt into his costume collection. It has some definite positives, but also some drawbacks that landed it at a 3-star rating for us.

Looks the Part: The vintage design with the lace-up front hits the mark visually. It adds a genuine touch to cosplay projects like Renaissance fair outfits, pirate costumes, or even some medieval characters. With some creative accessorizing, it can be quite versatile.

Quality Material: We were happy with the quality of the cotton material itself. It feels soft and comfortable, and the stitching seems well-done. It appears to be a well-made shirt that could withstand multiple cosplay outings.

Sizing and Material Issues: Here's where we ran into some snags. While the quality is good, the sizing runs small, like we mentioned before. Even more importantly, the cotton has zero stretch to it. This can be a problem for comfort, especially if you're planning on wearing it for an extended period at a cosplay event. If you have any doubts, we strongly recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.

Overall: This JEMITOP Lace Up Shirt is a bit of a mixed bag. The look and quality are there, but the tight sizing and lack of stretch material bring down the overall experience. For cosplayers on a budget who are willing to go a size up and deal with potentially limited movement, it might be an okay option. However, if you prioritize comfort and ease of movement, you might want to keep looking. With its limitations, we can only give this shirt a 3-star rating.
