My daughter is just now a size 8. Size 7 still fit her. So i thought i would go up a size as she'll grow this summer. These shorts just fit. Being made of 98% cotton, I'm afraid they'll be too small after washing. They have the button adjustment on the inside and they are adjusted to the biggest size. I suggest going up a size as they can be adjusted tighter. Other wise they are very cute and well made. I read they run large but i don't see that in my case.

Bot these shorts for my granddaughter and they are very nice.

The purple color is beautiful, very well made, adjustable at the waste and excellent price.

Bot a light purple top with a heart to pair it with these shorts and it was perfect for her.

Very happy with my purchase.

My daughter loves these --they are comfy and yet rugged enough to stand up to multiple trips to the playground without falling apart. The size guide was pretty spot on.

My 9 year old is a shorter side. These were too long and too big for her.
They are not made out of jean fabric.
