My daughter is in the phase of endless birthday parties and this fanny pack has been my go-to gift. It's versatile, simple and yet having the first initial makes it feel more customized. So far, I've gotten three styles (all different colors) and none of them have disappointed! Pair it with a gift card and it's a no-brainer gift that girls love! I think the trend is to wear these crossbody (as a 40 year old, it breaks my heart a little to not wear this on the "fanny"), which works well. I'd say IF they were going to wear these on the waists, they may be a smidge big for the 8 year olds I'm buying for. None the less, they seem to hold up well; I bought one for my daughter at the beginning of the year and it's been good for her camp trips. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong with this... especially at this price!
