On The Job Since 1922

A century ago, we were just a small Texas company making bib overalls. Built with quality, grit, and quiet pride, every pair that came out of our shop embodied the spirit of the American worker. While our workwear is now available in more than 100 countries across the world, we’re not all that different from when we first opened our doors. We still make bib overalls. We still embody that spirit of the American worker. The only difference is we get to do what we do for more hardworking people than ever before.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these pants, but SIZE UP your waist size!

I love these pants so much and consider them a staple (I have three pairs). The length is perfect as it sits a little below my ankle, but I did have to size up on the waist size. Since it is mens pants, there's no room for your hips when you're pulling them up, so be sure to size up at least once or twice. I sized up once and they fit perfectly. The women's version of these pants suck and are more tapered so I recommend you get these instead as the pant legs are more straight and they're much cheaper. The quality is overall great and you can dress them up or down. I also bought my boyfriend a pair and he also had to size up

These pants are NOT a half size small, or a whole size small. Don’t size up or down, get your normal size. Ignore the people saying so. They are wrong. 34-30 here. Fits just like it should, pants are stiff when they arrive, snug around the waist. Earn them, wear them and break them in.

I have worn these for years. The fit is pretty good, maybe a little long in the leg for me. The sizing in the waist is off when compared to jeans. I usually need to order a size or two larger. They hold up well and I can usually get a couple years out of a pair when wearing once a week and washing once a week.

I love them, and I had these pants before so they have a lot of room to move, and they're rugged and dependable.

4.0 out of 5 stars White collar, not blue collar work pants.

These do run a bit snug, as they seem cut to sit at your natural waist, not where most men wear pants.

I guess when I see the brand Dickies and read work pants, I imagined they were for me. I had a different pair, which are comfortable and have double layered knees. I thought these were those. They are not. They're more like "my first desk job" cheap, stiff, starched slacks. They do feel like a durable material and look presentable. They are not a comfortable as I had hoped.

3.0 out of 5 stars These Dickies pants pockets are all wrong. Otherwise they're great.

The first time I ever tried these pants on they felt and looked great. The fit felt quite good. I did read some of the other reviews bemoaning the stiffness of the material, but I like that. It means these pants will keep the sharp and crisp look they have, for longer. They are "work pants" after all. And, no doubt, they will soften a bit over time with washing.

I liked them very much at first blush until I encountered the tight pockets. They are all too small and shallow, front and back. Especially the 2 front pockets. (A small inner change pocket within the front right pocket always goes a long way.) There's little room in there and anything you put into the front pockets shows up as an outlined bulge/s in the front of your thighs. Not a flattering look anywhere.

If it weren't for the the poorly thought out and stingy pockets, and even though I haven't washed them yet, I would have given these Dickies Original 874 Work Pants 5 stars instead of 3.
