    Shopping for shoes for three boys at the same time is no easy task, so I was glad to come across the Merrell Trail Chaser. I’ve had good experiences with Merrell shoes for myself, but this was my first time trying their kids' line. Honestly, the price and the brand were what caught my attention, especially since other kids’ shoes from unknown brands were more expensive on Amazon.

    The color selection was a nice bonus—I was able to get each of my boys their own color, which made it easy to keep track of whose shoes were whose. More importantly, all three say the fit is great, and I haven’t heard a single complaint. We went on a family hike recently, and the shoes held up well. The kids had no issues with comfort, and the grip on the soles gave me peace of mind that they were stable on rough terrain.

    Overall, I’m really pleased with these shoes. They’re solid, comfortable, and well-priced, especially for a trusted brand like Merrell.

    This is an excellent sneaker! I chose this pair because they come in half sizes, which is perfect for my 9-year-old son who is outgrowing size 3 but finds size 4 too big. Given that they are made by Merrell, I expected high quality, and these shoes did not disappoint. My son has been wearing them since we got them, and he says he really likes them. He even mentioned that they make him a better runner, which I consider a great bonus.

    The sneakers are well-made with a comfortable insole, perfect for all-day wear and active play. I would definitely recommend these sneakers and plan to get them in size 4 for the upcoming school year. Highly recommend!

    Bought these for my grandson (seven years old) who lives in the country and loves being outside! He has a high instep and a wider foot than some shoes allow. These shoes fit very well and give his feet support and traction. I had worried they might feel too stiff or inflexible, but he took right to them and prefers them as his climbing shoes. If you have an active "rock climber," give these shoes a try. They are well made, durable, and comfortable.

    We’ve only had the Merrell Kids' Trail Chaser Hiking Sneakers for about a week, but they are already perfect for my son! He has autism and often struggles with taking his shoes off, but these are easy for him to put back on by himself. They are incredibly durable, and we feel confident that his feet will stay dry while hiking. We will definitely be purchasing again when he outgrows these! Highly recommend!

    Purchases for a camping trip with my six-year-old boy. The fit is great and it’s easy for him to put this on. They look good and are comfortable, but we have had them for about a month and a half and probably wears them 2 to 3 times a week to school. Fairly early, I noticed it fraying along the liner (see photo). I would say it was the way he was wearing them except my daughter has the same shoes (diff color) and the same thing happened to hers. The shoes are still fine, but the torn fabric You makes them look very worn and broken.

    I bought my grandson his first pair of these when he was 3. I've been buying them for him ever since. He's now 7. What ever he's doing in them they're great shoes. From hiking trails to riding his bike with his friends they have great grip and traction. Buy the time he out grows them they're worn out and not good for hand me downs, but that's because he's having fun in them. He can run hard and I never worry about him twisting an ankle. I'll keep buying them as long as they keep making them.
