I’ve been to MANY Renaissance/Fae festivals/Faires over the years and I typically go “all out”; chainmail armor, layered clothing, etc. and it can just get so heavy and HOT, sometimes. I’ll never forget seeing a guy at one of the Maryland Faires loooong ago, that went low key - shirt and pants and hat - and he looked COMFORTABLE.

Well, after years of “dressing to impress”, I got over it and decided to just play it cool and comfy. So, I started with this shirt!

I’m 6’, 200lbs and got the XL. Fits decent, though maybe just a LITTLE small? I got away with it, though. If you’re less than 200, you’ll look quite svelte in this! I’ll be getting more as it’s pretty stylish and I’d not be adverse to wearing it as “everyday fashion”.

Was nervous that it would be different than the picture but it came just like I thought it would. You do have to string the buttons yourself which is a little bit of a process but they give you plenty of length to make it work. Would definitely recommend for any costume or ren fair party look.

I’m 6 foot tall and 235, and the XXL was a little loose but not bad, I’ll roll with it but XL is my usual shirt size and I would say to buy to your tshirt size. Surprisingly good quality! Buying to wear as pirate and it works great for the outfit.

It is very breathable and light. had slight trouble figuring out where to cut the strings as they come extra long but after tying it up and cutting with some excess room to spare it was very breathable and comfortable. others have talked about getting rust stains from the gromets. I personally did not have this issue but if you sweat profusely from your chest it may become an issue. if you dont want it to stain then just put some clear nail polish on the metal gromets. otherwise its free weathering!

It fits about a half size small, so definitely size up if you can.

It’s very good quality and I was impressed.
