I purchased size 10 to 11 years old for my son who is above the average height for his age (10 years old) and these are huge on him it. The sizing seems for a 13 year old. Other than the sizing being too big the quality is very good.

The fabric is good, the quality is good, but the waste sizing is way off. I bought these for my 12 year old son. He normally wears a size 14. I got these shorts, and thank goodness they have a decent drawstring. Two of him could fit and still have extra room. I had to tie them extremely tight, and space out the bunches of fabric being gathered by the string, so he didn't look silly. We are keeping them since they are wearable, and should last through next year's summer at least.

These are horrible! They have no elastic, so the only way they stay on is by tying the extremely short waist tie, which is too short for my 10 year old to tie without tying it in a complete knot. And no, it wasn’t the wrong size either. Anything smaller would have been too small. He hates them & after wearing them to school for a week (because we needed them) he won’t wear them again. Do not buy these!

These are great for school uniforms but they do run bigger than other brands we’ve purchased. My son is a size M in Children’s Place but likely can’t wear the same size in this brand until next year.

I ordered for my 10 year old, who is on the thinner side. The waist is very big but can potentially be cinched with the drawstring. They are strange, however, very long, like way past his knees, like they were pants which had been cut at the calves or something. I would return them, but I asked him and he doesn’t seem to mind.
