    I was so surprised and pleased with this skirt. The fabric is beautiful and has a sheen that reminds me of silk. At first I thought I wasn't going to like the color, but when I got it out of the bag, the skirt practically glows. It will be gorgeous in any color. The skirt itself has all these odd little flaps and pieces that hang from it and give it a raggedy but full quality. I love it!!!

    I'm toying with the idea of storing this skirt crammed in a plastic bag. I know it sounds strange, but the wrinkles actually enhance the total look. It would also be a great broomstick skirt. You do that by getting a skirt damp and then scrunching it together at the hem and waist. You hold the top and hem scrunched with rubber bands, then start twisting until the whole thing begins to fold into a knotted shape. Then you can hold the whole thing in shape with more rubber bands or string. Let it dry and you have a nifty wrinkled skirt. You can also bunch a skirt made of cotton or other natural fiber, like this one, around a broom stick and hold it in place with rubber bands.

    I'm always glad for the practical addition of pockets. The skirt fits well and has a drawstring in addition to the elastic. The medium fits me at low ankle length. (I'm short at 5'2".) Above all, I enjoy looking and feeling feminine. I also enjoy an innovative design and this skirt is a true work of art.

    I was expecting a "comfortable" skirt, probably looked cheap, and poor quality. All my clothes usually have several things in which I didn't like. But, this skirt, I have zero regrets. It looks unique, has a cool design that flares as you walk, easy cleaning, no iron needed. The fabric and sewing is also worth it. We will be buying this in a couple other colors as gifts. I'm picky and I would recommend this skirt to anyone who wants a quality, unique, easy to care for skirt that can go with many different looks all year long!

    I purchased this for my daughter who has a bit of a unique sense of style. She loves this skirt. It is comfortable in both warm weather and cool weather. The fabric is not cheap. It doesn’t feel like a costume. It is easy to wash on hand wash in the machine and dry on a rack. There hasn’t been any fading of the black color and it has been washed quite a few times. The skirt fits true to size and looks great. Scarlett Darkness is a great brand. We haven’t been disappointed in any of the items we have purchased through them. We like to shop their store because we know we will be getting quality clothing.

    Very beautiful and comfortable skirt! The material is lightweight and flowy, perfect for summertime wear. Very happy with the length as well; I’m 5’ 1” and always have trouble finding maxi skirts that don’t drag on the floor when I walk, but the size small fit me perfectly. Also love that the pockets are deep enough to keep my phone from falling out when I sit down, and the elastic waistband and drawstring are great. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I was a bit disappointed with the “layers”; I wish they had used wider pieces of fabric and continued the stitching further around the skirt, but other than that, I love it! Will definitely be buying some more in different colors

    I bought this skirt because I’ve really been enjoying dressing up for every day things lately. I don’t have an event like a renfest or a comic con, but it would work well for either one of those things.

    I ordered the size according to my measurements - an xl instead of my standard large (I weigh 165 and I’m 5’7 with an hourglass figure). It ended up fitting loosely in the waist and I’m ok with that as there is a drawstring I can cinch it in with. It is voluminous and long, which I like and that might not have been the same case if I would’ve ordered a smaller size.

    I purchased the khaki color and it is a warm caramel mid-toned brown. The fabric has a slight sheen and is neither flat looking nor rough to the touch. It was definitely quite wrinkled out of the bag and the many layers are a lot to go through and steam properly. I think steaming is a lot better and easier than ironing all of that would be! It has a sewn in nylon half slip, a full rayon skirt, and four panels of the same fabric that add volume. It’s fun to twirl around in as the panels flare out and whirl. Makes me feel like a princess…or rather, at my age, a queen

    I think it’s well-constructed and worth the price I paid for it. There’s a timeless quality to the style and I hope to get more than a few wears out of it this year. I’m certain that it can carry me through at least three seasons with the proper footwear and tights if needed.

    I love these skirts, this is the second one I've ordered so I now have 2 colors of it. The pockets are large enough that I can fit my phone in them, and the fabric is light enough for hot weather as well as being still warm enough for windy slightly cooler weather.

    I will say that the skirt weighs a bit so you’ll have to tie it tight to keep it in place - especially if you have a smooth fabric underneath.

    You can tell the skirt is really well-made. I will definitely be wearing this for next year’s Ren Fest too and looking for other costumes to create with it!
