I wasn’t sure this would fit or if it would be a good quality and I was pleasantly surprised on all fronts. It’s beautiful, high quality and fits like a dream. It is a bit short so if you have a long torso or even an average torso but large up top, expect a crop top style.

It's definitely a mid quality corset but you get what you pay for so I'm happy with the quality for the price (I was able to purchase it during a sale so I didn't pay in full). The first one I received had issues with the side zipper splitting open but after a super easy, quick exchange process I received another and it fit perfectly! Lately, my weight has been fluctuating between 120lbs-126lbs but I have a bigger chest so I had to size up in order to accommodate the girls, if you know what I mean ????. It's not like an actual real corset, if you've ever worn a real high quality one you'll know exactly what I'm talking about and understand why the price is so different. All in all this is definitely a budget friendly corset. Just be prepared for quality control issues so if you're buying one for a special event, make sure you give yourself enough time to receive the corset so you can inspect it for flaws like with the zipper splitting open etc that way you'll have enough time to exchange it in case you do come across issues. I've read other reviews with zipper issues as well. I love these budget friendly corsets so much that I immediately purchased 4 more so now I have 5 from this brand. The side zipper is useful and makes it easier to put on. All their corsets are so pretty!

I'm 5'5, 150lbs and purchased the size 10 and it fits like a dream. It's also extremely sturdy. There's a zipper on the side to make it easier to get into and out of, but I found I still had to unlace and relace the front every time I put it on. Takes a little longer but considering the high quality, I don't mind. This corset looks so good it makes me wish I had more occasions to dress as a barmaid in everyday life so I could wear it more often.

There's a zipper on the side to make it easier to get into and out of, but I found I still had to unlace and relace the front every time I put it on. Takes a little longer but considering the high quality, I don't mind. This corset looks so good it makes me wish I had more occasions to dress as a barmaid in everyday life so I could wear it more often.

I ordered based on their size chart and ended up returning this because it was too big, but it felt well made and looked very nice. Felt pretty sturdy and I think it would do well for some light body shaping but it's nowhere near as heavy duty as a corset. It would be FAR more comfy than a corset, that I'm certain of. I'm not a fan of the side zipper, it's not something I'd ever use so it just got in the way

My chiropractor thought a corset with light boning might help me maintain better posture. What fun! It took a bit of experimentation to find one that's easy enough to put on and adjust. This one has it all. And these are beautiful and well made. The colors are true to the photos in most of the corsets. The exception I found was that some of the greens didn't look quite the same on my monitor and were more vivid when they arrived. The Scarlet Darkness size charts are accurate for my size. The fabric panel beneath the lacing allows you several inches of latitude to tighten or loosen things up. A very clever design.

I have a growing collection of Scarlet Darkness corsets. They've proven to be actually helpful for my posture and reduce back strain and consequent pain! All this and they make me look pretty! I can trust in the quality and also know this is a reliable seller. I've never been to a ren faire. I simply love this look and have received many compliments, here, there and everywhere. What's not to like?

I LOVE this corset top! Wow! It’s beautiful. I bought it to wear with a hobbit costume.
It is EXACTLY as described and pictured. Fit was as expected.
There’s a lace front with a beautiful soft satin ribbon. Then on the side there’s a zipper closure. The zipper is very sturdy and it blends in well, you can’t really tell that it’s there. It was easy to get on because they ship it with the front already laced. So all you have to do is loosen the front and slide in through the side, and zip yourself in. I also like how there’s freedom in the size of the corset. Scroll to the video to see what I mean. The front “flap” underneath the ribbon is a couple inches wide so you can wear it tighter or looser and it will still look perfect.
It will work for varying shoulder heights because the ribbons are not just decorative, they are all functional. So you can really make this corset fit exactly how you like it too.
Overall I’m so happy with the quality and price. I would buy it again.

Bought this as a last minute outfit for the renaissance faire. It was such a great buy, especially for the price! There is a side zipper that makes it super easy to put on and take off, and you can adjust the front and arm pieces to fit snug. Plus it is super cute!

I’m 5’7 height, 165 lbs and 38DD chest. I bought size 10 but it’s too small. The brand’s photo of the corset makes it look longer than it actually is - it’s more like a cropped corset. I was also disappointed that the ribbon for the front lace up part and one ribbon for the shoulder straps were missing, (because of this, I was only able to hold it around my chest to see if it was the right size). Otherwise the corset is well made and the fabric is nice. I’ll buy a size 12 and hopefully the ribbon is all there; it’s decent for the price.
