Just what I was looking for! I bought two pairs of these pants for my partner. These are really nice, thin, stretchy, casual slacks. He is not allowed to wear them to work. That is what the other Carhartt's are for.

What I love about Carhartt's are their extended sizes. He's a BIG guy and I've been able to buy him jeans, work pants, and now casual slacks in a brand that he likes.

I had originally bought a pair of these at Academy and I was blown away that I had finally found a pair of nice looking pants that fit me absolutely perfect. They're comfortable, they're durable, they're not too heavy or too light. These pants check all the boxes for me. The perfect fit through the legs, they go great with boots or regular shoes, they make your butt look good, they sit at the perfect height on your waste and look awesome with a plain t shirt of your choice tucked in. I can't recommend these enough. As the title says, I ordered 3 more pairs in different colors after my experience with the first pair bought from Academy. I've had a chance to try them all on, and they all fit identically. The sizing is super consistent, unlike A LOT of other clothing manufacturers where two pairs of pants in the exact same size, can fit completely different. This is not the case for these. These are awesome. I am actually a carhartt hater too, because I don't like the direction the company is headed, but a well made pair of pants is..., a well made pair of pants.

Tight in the crotch and butt

Nicely made and nice sage green color, but for my 32/34 pair, the rise was short and butt too tight in the crack. I got confused between their "relaxed" fit and their "loose" fit. The relaxed is tighter than the loose so I returned these for the loose which are very loose and comfortable for any squatting or bending and the rise is much longer so no crotch tightness.

I'm a working business owner, so out on my shop floor running parts, out on service calls in all types of environments (office building, factory, machine shops, farms, etc.), and finally behind a desk. These pants are very comfortable, pre-shrunk, already have a bit of a worn in look instead of fresh pressed slacks, pockets are roomy, fit is right on, they slide and move with you climbing, squatting, kneeling and sitting. These are to replace my Cintas standard work pants as I hate the look of those. Highly recommended.

I have a few different pairs of these pants. They are very comfortable and hold up pretty well. The sizing in them is difficult though. I always wear a 30/30 in carhartt jeans. I bought a pair of these last year and had to go with a 31/32 which fit me. I ordered two pairs to replace some worn pants recently, this time in 31/32 again and they are too long. Sizing seems to be inconsistent even between colors. I would definitely order a size up on the waist and for length your guess is as good as mine. I will be returning these for a 31/30
